Abby is a 6 year old purebred Golden Retriever. She is a dream girl in a beautiful dark gold coat. Abby has been with us only a few days and we already love her to death. She loves everyone - kids, dogs and cats, loves to ride in the car, and just loves to be with her people. Abby was surrendered to RAGOM due to her allergies.

Abby had her vet appointment today and she is now up to date on all of her vaccinations and we got some medication for her allergies. Her right ear had a bad infection so we now have medication for that too. I know she will be feeling better soon.

We will update more later as we get to know Abby better.

Abby has been adopted and went to her forever home this past weekend. Her new family just adores her. She is one happy girl!

Abby has been moved around a few times in her 6 years, but now she can know that her moving days are over. Thank you, Sandy, for opening your heart and home to a rescued Golden Retriever. As you found last week, Abby can work her way into your heart in minutes of meeting her. She is just about THE Perfect Dog. As a foster mom, it makes my job so worthwhile to see a dog like Abby find such a wonderful home. People always ask me how I can "give up" my foster dogs. Well, it certainly isn't easy, but I know there are so many more dogs out there like Abby that need a good home and if I can let each one go, I will always have room for another to come and stay and find their very own forever home.
