Hello from Dixie and Nellie,  I'm Dixie the black colored girl, and Nellie is my sister the red colored girl.  We were at the vet today and Nellie is 39 pounds and I'm a little smaller at 32 pounds.  We were so well behaved we got a treat, that was nice because then we didn't feel the shots.  Boy the turtles at the vets office scared me so I growled at them, Nellie must have thought I was going to be doing all the protecting because she stood behind me.  I don't think they were just the normal painted turtles that we will see at the lake this summer because they were almost as big as we were.
 
It has been a busy day at the vets office so I guess it is time for a nap.
