Angus 10-361

Profile

Hello RAGOM!

My name is Angus, me and my litter mates were born on October 18th 2010 which makes me just under 7 weeks old. My mom was a Golden Retriever and my dad is unknown. I am a sweet little boy, who is also big and strong like a bull so foster mom and dad named me Angus. I have a lot of fun with my litter mates and you can watch me charge up on them bowling them all over when I play. I would love to find a forever home, but will need to stick around my litter mates for a little bit longer.

Foster dad took me to the vet and I have been de-wormed and had my first injections. I am scheduled to be neutered on 12/9/2010, and I can go home to my forever family on 12/13/2010. So if you are ready to have some sweet Angus love in your home for Christmas please contact your placement advisor. Although I cannot leave my litter until 12/13 my foster home is ready to meet applicants.

So, we had Angus for the weekend while his foster mommy went out of town. What fun it was to have a puppy! We went to Petco in Stillwater where we met many of you. Of course, everyone thought he was adorable. He did great, socializing with everyone. He was a really good puppy at the event, just sitting on my lap or in the arms of someone else--giving them puppy kisses!

At home, he did great with our resident and our foster, Patch 10-223. Angus and Patch played pretty hard with each other. Angus probably wanted to play more than Patch, but Patch was very tolerating. It was funny watching each of them trying to take the other's toy. They even learned to play tug-of-war with each other. I've attached a few more pictures of our time with Angus.

If anyone is looking for a puppy, he'd be a great one to have around. Just a typical puppy that needs someone that has time to train and love him. If you'd like to meet Angus, just let your placement advisor know and I'm sure his foster mom would love to hear from you!

We are lucky enough to be able to temp foster this sweet puppy for the weekend. He has met our resident and foster (Patch 10-223) without issue. Lots of puppy tugging and playing. Angus will be at Petco in Stillwater starting at 11 a.m. If you want to meet the most adorable puppy and come get some puppy kisses, please come join us on Saturday.

Here are some recent photos from Angus enjoying his playtime in the backyard! He has ventured out onto our ice rink a few times and has tried to steal the pucks!

Angus or "Gus", as we call him, has been with us for about a week and we are still getting to know his personality. One thing is for sure, he is a cute little stinker! He is so soft and he loves to snuggle close. He has all the typical puppy behaviors. Eat, sleep, play, chew, give kisses and cuddles. He loves his squeaky toys, Kong and rope toy. He does like to chew on furniture, shoes or just about anything laying around but he is easily redirected with a firm "no" command and toy. He is gated inside our kitchen and main family room area.

He is a puppy so of course he is not yet 100% potty trained. He has had very few accidents in the house but we are also very vigilant about letting him outside every 45 minutes when we are home and watching for his signals. He is quick about doing his business and looks forward to a little treat as a reward. He sits and waits for the snack patiently....it's so cute!

Angus is crated at night time and when we are away from the house. He cries & whines when he first goes inside but then settles down nicely. He is able to keep the crate free of poop but has peed on the blanket a few times.

He will see the vet again this week for more vaccinations. He has been neutered and is ready to meet interested applicants. Contact your placement advisor to meet this little sweetheart!
