Hello everyone in RAGOM land, it's me Princess Lilly Anna and I have super fantastic news to share. Are you ready for this??? I have a forever family all of my own!! How great is this. I get to live with a mom, a dad, a 17 year old human sister and a cat. My new mom can work from home some of the time so I will not have to stay home alone much. My new mom is going to work from home for the next two days so I can adjust to my new house. My new family had a big chocolate lab (like foster brother Rocco) who crossed over the Bridge a couple of months ago and now that the time is right they found RAGOM and guess who the first dog was that they looked at......yup you are correct....it was me Anna. They applied on Mother's Day but did not think I would still be available but knew RAGOM has lots and lots of great dogs to choose from so they knew they would find the perfect fit.....even if it wasn't me. Well, they were surprised to see that I was still available once they done with their home visit and approvals and well the rest is just history. Some things are just meant to be.
I will miss my brother Gus as he and I are two peas in a pod (foster mom says that) but foster mom said a very nice family is coming to meet Gus in another day or so and she's guessing they will adopt him so all will be fine. I'll also miss foster brother Rocco and foster sister Jimmie as well as foster mom. They have all been so good to me.....just like my first foster family was....I miss them too as well as my mom Ava 11-088. Foster mom says she is hoping everyone will bring us pups to Goldzilla on the 17th of September.....I sure hope so cause I'd really like to have a family reunion.
Well, time to pack my stuff....I'm taking some toys, some blankets, some food and treats, a CD of my favorite classical music, my leash and collar and hitting the road with my folks. I'm going to be traveling a bit in the next month as I get to go on a long road trip to take my human sister to visit some colleges....should be a fun bonding time for all of us. My new folks will send in an update or two and promised foster mom some photos of me. I'd like to say thank you to all the wonderful folks who have help me and my family so we can live, long happy lives.....you guys are all the best in my book. Please continue to keep my mom Ava 11-088 in your thoughts and prayers as she continues with her heartworm treatment and the docs figure out how to help her leg get better. Oh, and if you have a few extra dollars please consider making a donation to RAGOM so they can help more pups like me and my mom. Without your support and help, well lets just say none of us would be alive today.
Puppy kisses from the Princess Lilly Anna.
Note from foster mom: I heard from Anna's new family and she is settling in just fine. Met the cat without a problem and has been a sweet, calm girl....hopefully she slept through the night for them. Gus is doing ok without his sister.....he slept in the bed with me, Rocco and Jimmie.....not a peep from the little man from 10 pm to 5:30 am....such good pups. Oh, and Gus just had to get in the photo with Anna and her mom and dad.....silly boy....usually it's my resident dogs who think they need their picture taken with the foster dogs!!

Anna (Lilly) is doing well. She had her spay surgery last Saturday and visited the doctor today for her next series of vaccinations. Lilly weighs 18.9 pounds and is 13 weeks old today. She is a healthy, happy young pup. Lilly loves water, plays in the kiddie pool and in her water dishes when ever she gets the chance. If the weather is nice this weekend we will take a little trip to see if she likes to swim. She loves to play with her brother Gus 11-094 as well as my two resident labs. I am surprised Lilly is still in foster care as she is a very sweet, adorable pup. Don't let the fact that she is not a pure bred Golden Retriever stop you from considering her. Lilly has the wonderful Golden personality and her mix makes her a very cute pup. The vet guessed that she will weigh around 50 pounds when full grown so she will be more of a medium sized dog than your typical large Golden.

Anna "Lilly" continues to do well in foster care. She is 18 pounds of sweet, spunky puppy. She loves to play with all dogs, large and small and snuggles with all the humans she meets. Today her ears are both standing upright as are Asher's 11-093. Anna goes to the doctor on the 7th for her spay surgery and will then be available for adoption.
Thank you for following her journey. Please consider making a donation to RAGOM to help pay for the medical care Anna, her sibling and mom Ava 11-088 have received.

Hello.....hello...hi, is anyone there? Oh, I see how this works, I type and you read it later. My name is Anna, actually I like to be called "Lilly Anna" or "Princess Lilly" after all, I am a princess. I am currently living with my two brothers Angus 11-094 and Asher 11-093 as well as the two resident labs, Rocco and Jimmie. Oh, and foster mom. I like everyone, but the big dogs and boy dogs play really rough and I don't always like that. Earlier this week when Tanner 10-331 was still living with us, he and Rocco ran into me and stepped on my foot. Boy, it really hurt a ton and I cried and screamed for a long time. I scared everyone, even the neighbor came out to see if I was ok and asked if she needed to call the police. Foster mom took me to the doctor and they took pictures of me so they could see my bones. Lucky me, no broken bones, just a swollen foot. I had to rest and take some meds. Today I am better and foster mom let me run around with my brothers and our friend Bailey (Rona 11-017). It was nice to play and run again.
My ears are still deciding if they are going to stand up or not. Foster mom says she can't wait to see me each day so she can see if she guessed right about my ears for that day. She also says I have the softest coat and I am a beautiful cream color with red/brown highlights. Everyone says I look a lot like my mom Ava 11-088. I miss my mom and want to say hi to her and get well soon. Foster mom told us she is doing ok so far with her heartworm treatment but still has a long way to go before she can be adopted. I know all of her medical care and the care my brothers and I received, costs a lot of money so if any one can donate to help pay my family's bills, I sure would be happy to give you a puppy kiss or two.....maybe even some snuggle time and I promise not to bite you on the ear lobe.
Well time to go check out what my brothers are doing....they are making some noise so I'm sure they are getting into trouble. Boys...you know how they are.
Bye for now, "Lilly" Anna 11-103

Anna is doing very well at her new foster home. She loves playing with Asher 11-093 and Angus 11-094 and just hanging out. Anna has been keeping busy with visitors of all ages and sizes and loves to bite and play with everyone....typical 9 week old puppy!! She does fine with her adult foster brothers and foster sister as well.....she seems to have a special interest in Tanner 10-331....all the girls like handsome Tanner. The pups have had play dates with one of my previous fosters, 16 week old Rona...now Bailey. It's so cute to watch the pups play with dogs other than their siblings and is good socialization for them.
Each day brings a guess about Anna's ears; will they be standing up right or not today?? Today one is up and one is down....tomorrow who knows....so very cute. I think we could place a wager on if her ears will be up right or not when she is full grown!! Anna also has a very pretty, soft coat. Her coat is a beautiful cream color with red/brown areas...it will be so fun to see Anna when she is full grown. She may not be a typical Golden Retriever but she certainly has the Golden personality. She is very sweet and loving and will make a wonderful life long companion for some very lucky family. Guessing at her breed will keep her new owners busy and will be a topic of conversation where ever she goes.
Anna will be spayed in the next couple of weeks and will then be able to go to her forever home. She is available to meet her forever family. Please contact your placement adviser if sweet Anna sounds like the puppy for you. Please also consider making a donation to RAGOM on behalf of Anna, her medical care along with the care of her siblings and mom Ava 11-088 is expensive but these wonderful dogs so deserve to have long happy lives and you can help to make that possible with your donation.

Anna has found a new foster ... thanks, Denise. She will be changing fosters because her mom started her heartworm treatment today and needs to stay calm while the medicine kills off the worms in the left side of her heart. These worms, as they die, enter the bloodstream and end up restricting the capillaries of the lungs. That makes it harder for Ava to breathe. That's why it's best to separate these healthy active pups from her. She's such a good mom and wants to care for her brood but Anna is puppy-playful and is ready to live away from mom. She will still have her litter mates to play with and more room to run. We all will miss her but it really is time for her to move up and onward. Good luck to Anna and Denise.

Yay! Anna and her brothers are back from the vet! She has finished her treatment and is once again a happy, active, healthy pup. We did notice one difference about Anna when she returned, however; when she left she had ears that drooped and now they are standing upright. Is this a change because of feeling better or is it just part of maturing? It certainly doesn't change her being just as cute as can be. Speaking of cute, when we picked up the pups from the vet office they referred to Anna as "the princess". Why? Because she acts like she knows that she is deserving of the very best. We find it hard to argue that point.
Anna loves the attention of anybody that comes by. She is usually first to come running when there is an opportunity for a little lovin'. She loves to chase her brothers. And having been raised in a litter where she was the only girl with six brothers she has learned how to take care of herself. She will roughhouse with the best of them but won't take being bullied.
And she really loves the fact that he got an Easter surprise from Kathy M. How could things get any better? Well, perhaps adoption in a forever home ...
