Anzac is one of seven puppies of Ava 11-088. He is missing most of his tail. He is golden in color and the largest puppy in the litter.

He and his brothers came up from Missouri last weekend, saved from euthanasia by RAGOM. They were dumped at the Joplin Humane Society who couldn't handle them due to overcrowding. We have no history on him (not even what happened to his tail) but as we learn about him we'll certainly fill you in.

Today he weighs seven and a half pounds and has gotten his first vet visit. Like his mother he wants human contact. Like his siblings he is mellow. And he is as cute as the dickens.

Thanks to RAGOM he has been given the opportunity to have the "Golden life". This cannot be done without generous donors who really care about dogs in need. Donors are always welcome and always needed. Want to become a donor? Want to help poor little Anzac? If you can help defray the costs of his care, please consider a donation to RAGOM in Anzac's name.

Anzac is full of opinions. If he thinks that someone is getting more attention than they deserve or, worse yet, if they are taking away attention that he wants, he is quick to let you know. If play time amongst the pups is leaving him out, he'll speak up. We'll be elsewhere and hear Anzac voicing his opinion. He might be the public speaker of the group. But he doesn't speak up just to hear his own voice. It's only when he feels that his opinion matters and needs to be heard. Like the other pups he sleeps soundly thru the night without a peep. And like the others he has the soft coat with the fluffy undercoat that makes all of them just the softest little critters you'd ever want to hold.
