Hello RAGOM World!  My name is Apollo and I'm new to this circuit!  I'm estimated to be 4-5 months old with paws to grow into!  I JUST moved in with my foster family today and I cannot tell you how happy I was to find the grass in their back yard!  Once I got out of the car, put on my new collar and tag, and made it past the feline sisters of mine, I got to the grass and rolled and rolled and rolled - then I rolled a little more!  It was so fun and the grass was SO cool!

Well, I'll tell you a little about me.  I am kinda shy around...well...most everybody right now.  However, a little sweet talkin' and a warm hand to lick is just about all it takes to let me know you're my bud.  My canine foster sis, Molly, is showing me how to get attention - she's REALLY good at it!  I've been getting the tail-wag routine down quite well - just to let my people know I really do love being here.  The rest of my body is slowly catching on to that wagging part too.  I'm certain that my tail will wag the body, just like Molly's, in a very short time!

As for those feline sisters...well, I think they are VERY interesting!  They make that leaky hissing sound when I get closer - that just makes me laugh and walk away!  I think they're kind of cute!  Sometimes I run toward them just to hear that leaky noise!  What a hoot!

I learned a little more about this big world today.  I haven't done much climbing of stairs in my life - at least they seem funny to me here.  They stopped me in my tracks, at first, but I'm getting the hang of them now!  The same is true for the doors into the house.  I wasn't quite sure if I should go through, but I'm getting better and better at it!Actually, Foster Mom says I'm a very FAST learner!  Look at all I've accomplished today!

Foster Mom says I'm headed to the vet this week (we hope) to make sure all my parts are in the right place (just kidding)!  I'm actually the picture of "Perfecto Puppyo"!  Just look at the mug shots I posed for today!  Foster Dad says they are gonna do a little snip snip - I don't quite know what that means...I'm thinking there will be treats involved though, so that will be fine with me!

I am spending my first night in my crate in the 10 year old person's room - she's really cool!  I like playing with the kids in this house!  They find all the fun toys for me, give me lots of hugs and even let me kiss them once in awhile!  I think people kids are pretty fun!

Well, RAGOM World, I'll be back at ya' later!  Have a splendid day!
Fondly,
Apollo

We took Apollo out of boarding to stay with us for a long weekend.  Apollo was a little shy at first with the resident dogs and hid his head in my lap.  After about ten minutes, he started exploring the fenced back yard.  The resident dogs started chasing each other around the yard and Apollo joined in.  After that, they were all best buddies.  Apollo is great with the other dogs and loves running around the yard or wrestling.  He is very respectful of the older dogs when they tell him they are finished playing.

Apollo has been the perfect house guest. He has great manners and I can’t believe he is only 9 months old.  Apollo loves all types of dog toys and often plays quietly by himself. He also loves to snuggle and sit in your lap. It has been so nice to have Apollo here, that I just couldn’t let him go back to boarding.  I also couldn’t resist his big brown eyes, so we will be Apollo’s foster home.

Hi - I'm not officially Apollo's foster, but I had the priviledge of being Apollo's date for the Uptown Art Fair on Saturday. He is a total sweetie. He met other people and dogs very well, let strangers pet him with no problems, and was pretty calm when we had to sit under the tent because of the rain.  After a couple hours, we headed to my house so he could meet and play a bit with my Ragom adopted dog Ranger, a mixed breed about his size.  Apollo was a little timid at first (he buried his head in my lap!) but he was finally interested enough ina rope toy to overcome his shyness. One of the photos is fuzzy, but it shows Apollo and Ranger sharing the rope toy - each one got to chew on one of the ends!  So cute.  He is just adorable.
