Let me introduce Aslan!!!  He is a 4 year old pure bred Golden Retriever.  He has been settling in nicely.  Aslan is neutered and seems to be in good health.  We will be taking him to the vet on Monday and will know even more then.  He is such a sweetie!  He came from a very loving home that was heartbroken to let him go.

What can I tell you that I know about Aslan that I have learned so far? He always seems to have a smile on his face.  He is housetrained.  Does his business like a good boy.  He knows a few commands.  He is great with cats and kids.  He is good with other dogs, but can be a bit growly upon first meeting and I think getting settled has something to do with that.

Aslan has found the most incredible family.  Thank you guys for taking Aslan under your wing and giving him the love and security he so desires.  Thank you to Murphy for putting up with a scared dog for a few days.  You guys are so wonderful!  Enjoy your life together!  We will miss you Aslan!

Aslan continues to do well at our house.  He is still a little scared of our resident, but he LOVES people.  He will follow us from room to room.  He loves fetch and loves his toys and tennis balls.  We went for a walk today and he did not like the gentle leader and couldn't get used to it, so we used a flat collar and he just pulled a little.  He slept though his first night with free roam without a peep!  One thing I love about him too are his long furry legs!  I still have not gotten a picture to really show that...
