Autumn 05-287

Profile

10/2/05: Hello from Autumn,

She arrived here on Saturday afternoon. Autumn is a small Golden female, 41 lbs. and 8 months old; and she is chock-full of energy. She loves to play and meet new people. She was spayed last Wednesday. She gets along well with our Lab and our kids. She sleeps in the crate at night. Her tail never stops wagging. She is still getting used to our family, but is having fun. She is learning sit, and we have gone for lots of walks. On the last one, we had her wear a Halti. You would have thought she was at a rodeo the way she bucked, but by the end of the walk, she had settled down and was wearing it loose. We have been working on the sit and stay commands. She comes when she is called and knows her name well. More on this gal as we get to know her. If you are interested in a young, easily trainable, small (we do not think she will get much bigger), girl, let us know.........before my daughter talks us into keeping her!

Autumn has settled nicely into our home. She enjoys playing with our Lab - they chase around the house and outside. Autumn (and us as well) is continuing to work on potty training, having one accident a day in the house, just when she has to go, she has to do it right now!! She also is a cuddler, she likes to snuggle on the couch with us as well as in bed. She goes in the create with no problem when we are work, and at night if we do not want her on the bed. One family did come to meet her and thinks she would be a great dog for agility training because she is so lean and a quick learner! Autumn still has a lot of puppy energy in her and would benefit greatly from obedience training!
