Mattie came to our home yesterday.  She seemed a little scared at first.  Then she saw Emo, our Aussie and her tail was thumping.  She loves playing with him.  He helps keep her from getting too lonesome for her brothers and sisters and Emo is very gentle with her.

Mattie had a bath yesterday and she tolerated that very well.  We did it in the kitchen sink.  She smells so good now.   And that wonderful puppy smell is the best!!  She loves her new pillow bed.  Her 1st night she slept for about 4 hours in her kennel.  Then I took her outside to go.  It just took a few minutes to get her back to sleep.  I let her sleep by me that time though.  She is so cute!!!  Her color is beautiful and those eyes just melt your heart!! 

Mattie's had a couple accidents in the house but when we take her out after she eats or when she gets up from a nap, she runs to a snow pile and goes.  Then she runs back to the door.  So she certainly has the right idea.  She should be an easy one to train.  She loves her new toys.  She chews and chews on them.  And she loves playing with Emo.  It's so much fun watching her chase around the chair.  And she grabs his tail!  She even snatched a bone away from him and ran with it!  When she's tired, she likes to cuddle. 

She is so adorable and she will be a wonderful addition to any family.   We are so lucky to get to foster her until she finds that forever home.
