Bailey 07-112

Profile

4/3/07: Bailey arrived in Johnston, Iowa on Sunday from the Clinton Humane Society. She was surrendered because her family did not feel that they could give her the time that she needed. She was extremely ansty and curious. She is 1 1/2 years old, 69 pounds,a light red color and long and lean.  Bailey is absolutely beautiful with a beautiful personality to go with that.

It is now Tuesday and she is consistently sitting and laying down on command. She will now sit when asked before getting her bowl of food or when the outside door is opened. She is a very quick learner and bright. Bailey just needed someone to walk and play with her. She is terrible on the leash and our arms were pulled out of their sockets :) We put the Gentle Leader on her and she is a totally different dog. She will walk consistently now without pulling at all. She is enjoying her twice daily walks. Bailey is also learning to play. She loves tennis balls and holds onto them with all of her might. We are teaching her to drop them and go after them again. She is still not sure if we are really going to give them back!!!!!

Her vet check up was passed with flying colors. She is spayed, microchipped, UTD and groomed. And Bailey is now ready for adoption. Please email placementatragom [dot] org to learn more about this special lady!
