Bailey 11-327

Profile

Meet Bailey!! She is a 5 year old female PB. Her and her Brother Dakota 11-326 are being fostered together. They came from a loving family who are having hardships and had to give their beloved pets to RAGOM. They know they will be well taken care of with RAGOM and would love to see them adopted together! So if you're up for twice the fun, twice the love and kisses, twice the paws, we can make that happen.

They were outside dogs so they are still getting used to being in the house. They are adjusting well and loving the attention! No accidents yet, that is always a good thing, even though they were outside all the time they seem to know that outside is where they do their business! We are going to the vet on Wed. to get updated and have everything checked out. I do have a cat and they would love to chase her down and eat her I think, so a family with no cats for these two! They both are great riders in the car, you don’t hear a peep out of them, Dakota gets a little car sick from the beginning but did fine after that. Bailey does not get car sick.

They did live around children and did well with them. Will give you more info as the days go by and the vet appointment is over. But in the mean time I wanted to get their cute faces out there to look at!

From Bailey's forever family...

Bailey made the drive to her new home to Grand Forks (about 3 hours) very well. When we got there she walked right in and made herself at home. Bailey is a wonderful Golden. She is one of the most well behaved dogs we have been around. She hardly makes any noise. She only barks when she absolutely has to. Otherwise the loudest noise she makes is her tail hitting the wall when shes happy to see you.

At five years old she has not previously played with many toys. She is getting used to it. She prefers to carry them around rather than play with them. The squeak toys are confusing and interesting. Tennis balls are preferred if we are going to work on playing fetch. She will fetch about 3 times and then lose interest. She would rather just walk around and explore.

The first picture is Bailey minutes after getting home - where she found the couch and the second is in the backyard patrolling against rabbits, squirrels, and watching the kids across the street.

Thank you RAGOM for allowing us to adopt a wonderful Golden.

Bailey is a sweet girl who is very mellow in the house and is really enjoying the inside life.  Her and her brother have free roam of the house while we are gone and no problems at all!!  She is a very easy dog.

We did have a visit from a family with a dog and she was not so crazy about that.  The other dog was a female who was very sweet.  So some time needs to be taken with introductions. When she wags her tail, her whole end wiggles, so cute!  She really does not need a fence, she listens very well when told to come back.  a tie out at first until she learns her boundaries would be all she needs.  Still working on playing fetch!  Her brother loves it now, but she's not crazy about it yet.  Just a wonderful gal!

Bailey had her vet appointment today and all looks good except for her ears, she is on meds and will feel much better in a couple of days! All updated on shots. She weighs 76# and is a super sweet girl! Her brother Dakota 11-326 and her have been outside dogs and not been to the vet for a couple years so they got worked over at the vet! There have been NO accidents of any kind and are adjusting to living inside very well. Bailey really just does her own thing and does not care much about what everyone else is doing, unlike her brother! She has the cutest wiggle, when her tail wags her whole back end goes, so cute! They sleep well at night, do not hear a peep from them until morning and its time to go outside! Her brother is catching on to the fetch thing but so far she is not that interested!

I really wanted to adopt them together but after spending time with them they really would do ok separated, they are not attached to each other like I thought they would be. It could go either way!
