3/28/07: Bear, son to May 07-125, came into this world to much better conditions than if he would have been born 2 days earlier. Bear’s mom came from a puppy mill. The day before he was born, she was picked up and driven 6 hours to MN to come to my house! Unfortunately for her, the delivery wasn’t so easy so some of the puppies were born by c-section at the emergency vet in the middle of the night.

Since I can no longer tell which puppies were born here and which were born at the hospital, we weighed and colored them again as soon as we got home and Bear was 15 ounces. The puppies ranged from 14 ounces to 1 pound and an
ounce.

My fiancé and I are getting married in May, which is where Bear’s mom got her name. We decided to give all of her puppies wedding names, so Bear is named after the Ring “Bear”er!

RAGOM,

Tuesday (Jan. 5, 2021) we said goodbye to our loving Bear (07-209) after almost 14 years. We had him since a pup and he grew up with his brothers Andrew and Thomas until they grew up and left to be on their own. Each night as we headed to the bedroom, he would stop at their bedroom door, walk in, check the room and then join me in my bedroom.

He loved everybody and every dog. He was your complete neighborhood dog (never barked!) who would greet everyone and love to hang out with his dog friends. And if there was a door left open, he had no trouble wondering in to say hi.  The love and happiness he gave us will never be forgotten.

Thank you RAGOM for the gift of Bear.

Gratefully,

Jon

New pics of Bear and siblings!

First of all, Bear would like to say a big huge THANK YOU to Kristin and Heidi for sponsoring him.  He is sending absolutely adorable puppy kisses your way!Bear’s Stats:  Bear currently weighs 3 lbs and 2 ozs.  His eyes opened on Easter!  All of the puppies still have their ears closed.  Bear is a cuddle-bug.  I put the puppies on a blanket in the living room last night and Bear, along with his brother Beau, toddled and toppled and waddled all the way over to me to climb in my lap!  He is one of the puppies that is content to let me carry him around in my arms on his back like my little baby.  He curls right up and goes to sleep.  I could carry him all day!
