Shanna’s puppies are doing well - there are 6 girls and 4 boys.  We lost the 5th boy during delivery.  These pups do not have names yet, but very soon they will.  The puppies weighed in at .75 to 1 pound.

Toes 07-277 is also pictured here with Shanna and her puppies because she is one of them now and she weighs 1.6 pounds.

These puppies will be ready to go home around June 24th – if you are interested in meeting them please email placementatragom [dot] org.  I will start individual updates at the end of May, but if you would like to talk about them, we can do that!

Beemer continues to boss the pups around and tell them how to play and when to play.  He is the cutest little boy, but he sure does pick on the girls.  I am sure his mom and dad will be happy to hear that.

Beemer gets easily distracted when we feel he is not playing nice.  We just give him a new toy to play with vs. chewing on his brothers or sisters.

Beemer loves going outside to the grass area on our nightly play time.  He makes sure all the flowers have been checked out to the fullest and he just LOVES looking at the tree trunks.  Not sure what he is really looking at but he does hang out just staring at it.

Beemer will be ready to head to his new home on June 20th or so.

Pixels – Beemer – Turns 4 weeks tomorrow!  Can you believe it?  I can’t, these guys are great puppies and now they are working on potty training.  We built them a little puppy ramp so they can get out the door and on to the deck.  It is so fun!!!

If the puppies can eat outside they have their meals in the great outdoors and than like clock work, everyone potties!  Yep it’s true; we stay outside until every one finish their business, than we bring them in so we can hose down the area.  Once that is done if they are still playing we will bring them back out to play for a while.  This is morning two, of a clean pen when we got up in the morning!  I just love that!  Lots of little pee spots but that is so easy to clean up while they are eating, no piles to clean is awesome!  These guys are the best pups around.

Okay enough of the bragging – we have so much to cover with these little guys.  Beemer went to the vet and weighed in at 4.15 pounds.  Dr. L. thought he was doing great!  He got another dose of de-wormer and won’t be seen now until he is 7 weeks to get micro chipped and given his first set of shots.

Pixels would like to give a great big thank you to his sponsor Rick Felber and Marianne Shema.  Thank you so much for caring about RAGOM and their dogs.  We could not do this without you and your support!

Pixels has found his forever home and will be joining Ed and Paula in a few short weeks – well 4 weeks to be exact.  Pixels is doing well and eating lots of mush and seems to enjoy it.  His poop is not as firm as we would like it so he has been treated for worms again to make sure those nasty things are not hurting him.

Pixels' new name will be Beemer when he goes home and we think he will have a great new home.  He will continue on the good food and continue to grow.  Pixels and all the pups will be heading to the vet on Friday to get checked out again and make sure we do not have any more worms.

Beemer would like to thank everyone for thinking about him and wanting to adopt him, but he thinks he found the best family around!  Thank you!!!

Pixels has had a very eventful couple of days.  He met a very nice couple the other night and they told us today that they would very much like to add him to their household.  This makes us very happy and we are really happy for Pixels.

Pixels is eating his formula really well and is starting to taste test the mush.  Pixels now weighs over 2 pounds!  Go Pixels!

Pixels is doing great and is growing by leaps and bounds.  We went to the vet yesterday and he now weighs 1.41 pounds which is the middle weight of the boy puppies.  He received his first dose of de-wormer and the vet said his heart and lungs sound great and he has no signs of a heart murmur.  Yea for Pixels!

Pixels is doing wonderful with bottle feeding and he also loves to try and get milk from mom.  When it happens we are very happy, but when the puppies are crying and trying to get milk we know we have to help.  By the way, Pixels is named Pixels by my 17 year old son because of his web site he and his father run for their 71 Camaro’s (I call them scrap metal).

Pixels will go back to the vet in a few weeks to get another dose of de-wormer and than he won’t go back until he is 7 weeks for shots and micro chipping.

Pixels (boy pup) was the Seventh born of 11 pups.  He made his way into the world after we got to the emergency room.  Pixels was born on 4/28 at 10:50 in the evening.  He will always have a Dark Blue collar on when we take pictures.

Pixels was born at .7 ounces; he was and still is very small, but at least he is growing.  One week later he is gaining but still only weighs 1.2 pounds.  Pixels does not mind the formula so he should continue gaining weight.  Pixels usually has something interesting to whine about anytime you pick him up.

Thanks for checking on Pixels – he will be ready at the end of June for adoption.

Shanna pups are doing great – I just have one picture of where they all go when we have to bring Shanna out – as you can see this won’t last much longer – they are already out growing one basket!  Everyone weighs over 1 pound now which is great news.  Now we just have to keep things going in the right direction.
