We are so thrilled to introduce the beautiful Miss Bridget, a 13-week old golden puppy whose Momma is sweet Annie 13-316. She has made her way into our RAGOM family by way of the Animal Humane Society. Her mother, Annie, was one of the 133 dogs seized from a breeder in Pine River on July 16th of this year. Pending the disposition of the legal proceedings, the Animal Humane Society was caring for these dogs, and while in their care, nearly 80 puppies were born. At RAGOM, we were honored to be asked to provide socialization and foster care for a number of golden retrievers and their puppies. Bridget was one of the puppies born after the seizure - just three days later on July 19th, 2013.
Bridget has been with us for a little over four weeks and it has been so much fun watching her personality continue to emerge. She is definitely a little spit fire and if there is trouble to be found she will find it. Not a day (or should I say minute) goes by that we are not laughing at her antics and the situations she finds herself in. The benefit is that despite her need to charge head first into everything and experience all there is to experience with sometimes reckless abandon, she actually does listen to us (at least most of the time) and responds quickly to corrections and diversions. And then best of all, when she finally tires out, she is a world class snuggler.

As she is still a baby, Bridget will need a home with a lot of patience and consistent training. Puppy antics are cute when they are small, but not so much when you have a 60 pound dog doing them. While not a requirement, I would love to see Bridget in a home with another dog for her to play with. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is running and wrestling with the other dogs in our household. This sweet girl has stolen our hearts and I know that she will make some lucky family very happy.
