Bentley (Appa 07-676)

Profile

We have Appa here at our house tonight.  Appa comes from a very loving home that can no longer keep him for financial reasons.  He is  a very handsome 4 1/2 month old energetic puppy.  He is so sweet.  He gets along great with my 2 resident Golden's.  He loves kids.  He is defiantly a puppy and will need some obedience training.  Appa has gone potty every time I have let him outside.  So far no accidents in the house. The previous owners said he is mostly potty trained but will have occasional accidents.  Appa is currently being treated for Lyme's disease.  You would never know it.  He has no symptoms but it was diagnosed at his vet apt when they had his heartworm/Lymes test done.  He is UTD on all of his shots.  I will be taking him in to the vet this week to have a follow up appointment to have everything checked out.

This cute guy will not last long.

I will update this week after his vet appointment.

We are happy to say that Appa was adopted by the B. family. He went to his new forever home tonight. Appa now (Bentley) Is going to have the life he deserves going on walks every day, to the cabin every weekend in the summer and being a spoiled puppy. :) He has a big fur brother Duncan that Appa (Bentley) loves to play with. We are going to miss him but know that he is in the best forever home .....

We miss you Appa Boy!

Appa had a big day yesterday.  He went to the PetCo event in Maple Grove. So many wonderful families came out to see all of the dogs. Appa had quite a few admirers.  HE did very well there and loves the other dogs. Appa is still looking for the right home for him.  He needs a home where he will get lots of attention.  He is still a puppy but I have to say a very well mannered one.  He will either need obedience or I think he would also do great with positive training at home.  He is a very smart boy.

Appa Loves:

His food! :)
Other dogs
kids
adult attention
his stuffed toys (Babies we call them) He likes to pull all of the stuffing out.
Carrying things in his mouth.
plating outside in the snow
Being close to you all of the time.

He is very much a lover and easy to fall in love with.  Appa would love to find his perfect forever home for Christmas.

Well we took Appa in to the vet yesterday.  He is 45 Lbs. now and growing fast.  They could not believe how cute and well behaved he is. Everyone had to come in to see him at the vet.  The vet said he looks very healthy.

They did a urine test to check to make sure he did not have any crystals in his urine anymore.  I just got the call from the vet now and it looks GREAT!  This is very good news.  We are just waiting on his urine protein Creatine ratio to come back to make sure he has no adverse affects on his kidneys from his Lymes disease.  After talking to the vet she seemed to think he would be just fine. She told me that a lot of Dogs as puppies can test positive and just have a trace of it. :) Hopefully that is his case.

Appa is ready to find a forever loving home.  Appa loves everyone and just wants to be close to you all of the time.  He is such a snuggle bug....
