3/12/06: Bernie is now in Marion, Iowa. He has been thru so much in the last few months. First, Hurricane Katrina, then a big move to RAGOM to help him begin recovering...then being adopted and returned (through no fault of his own!) because the 15 lb. Terrier wouldn't accept him....then adopted out AGAIN but returned due to the children having allergies to him (poor kids and Bernie), and now...to another foster home. Bernie needs a safe, loving home to call his own forever. For now though, he has some allergies of his own to work thru and he will be seeing the holistic vet very soon to see what help he needs. We want this terrific boy to heal and be well. We'll keep updating you with his progress and we hope soon he will be ready to move on with his charmed life.
