Big Girl arrived safely at her foster home in Iowa. She is busy sniffing all around but ate a good dinner and enjoyed running around our fenced yard. She is a small golden, and has medium golden fur with nice rear feathering. She just turned two and looks like a big puppy!! She knows some commands, is housebroken and is getting along with Ragom foster sis Maren and shih tzu Yosi as well as our cats. She rode quietly in the car in a crate. We will let you know more as we get to know her. She is not spayed so will be seeing the vet on Monday and having that done next week.

Big Girl, now named Amber, has officially been adopted by Janice M. and Chance. She will have a wonderful fur-brother to play with, a great fenced yard and a 12 year old little girl who visits often and will love playing with her, plus a great walking trail a block away!! Congratulations Amber, your foster family will really miss you!!
Big Girl is bigger that we thought... she does weigh 49 #. She went to the vet today for the first time in over two years and got a clean bill of health. She got microchipped and checked over and is now up to date with shots and HW/FL pills. She was a very good girl at the vet office.BG is a sweetie... she loves to play and is well behaved and calm. She is actually just three years old instead of two. She had a visit today from a very nice lady and her golden, Chance. They all loved each other , so plan to adopt her soon after her spay, which is on Thursday. Will keep you posted on the plans...
