Bo 09-181

Profile

Bo is a wonderful, sweet 5 year old purebred Golden Retriever. He is gorgeous as well!!! He is so friendly. He loves to be pet, he loves to play with his tennis balls and he loves to chill. He is an absolute joy to have around. He gets along great with my female golden retriever. He gives her kisses sometimes. He came from a wonderful home that had to give him up due to a move.

What else can I tell you about Bo? He has a high prey drive so he cannot go to a home with cats. He loves kids. He loves car rides. It was so cute, I have never seen a Golden Retriever sit with his back to me almost having his butt fall off the seat so he can look out the back window. It was priceless!

Bo is a lean 77 pounds and is neutered. He was just at the vet last month and was very healthy. I will be taking him on Monday, but I am guessing there will be no surprises. He does bark when there is someone near the door. He loves to be outside, but more importantly he loves to be where people are. He is housetrained and very well behaved. Bo is not destructive and doesn't get into anything he shouldn't. I haven't taken him on a walk yet, but I will let you know how that goes.

Bo is a phenomenal dog! He is so easy to have around. It is very clear he has been well taken care of and loved his whole life.

Naptime!!!

Bo just continues to do well at our house. He is so fun! One thing I have to mention is he has the shiniest coat I have ever seen and his fur is so soft! What else can I tell you? He loves going outside on walks. He is also crate trained. Goes right on in there! We let him have free roam at night and no problems there! He is just a great boy! He loves to play catch with the ball and will always have a tennis ball either in his mouth or nearby at all times. He is also very funny in that at his previous house he had learned to open doors. It is so funny seeing him trying to open our round doorknobs. Bo is just a treat to have around! I love my snuggle bunny! We have to snuggle on the floor because he is one of the first fosters I have ever had that has no interest in going on the furniture!

So let's talk a little bit more about this boy on walks. I have learned so much about him! He puts the Gentle Leader on very eagerly even though I don't think he has really been exposed to one. He pullls and tries to crisscross a little at first but gets the hang of it quickly. When we were walking he ran across children about 4 or 5. He was SO gentle! He just stood like a statue and enjoy getting pet. I have also learned that he doesn't seem to jump up on people at all. YEA!! Be warned though going by a tennis court...he will pull! :) He will also pull if he sees a tennis ball in someones yard to try and get it. It is too funny! This boy just makes me laugh! He also loves his breaks on walks and will just bask in the sun or shade and take his surroundings all in ever so calmly.
