Introducing the newest Senior boy in RAGOMland! Bo is a 9yr. old, 55 lb, Golden Boy that came into RAGOM due to the death of his only owner. This wise old soul has settled in nicely with our 2 resident dogs and has an agreement with the cats. Bo is house trained!! He loves going for car rides, but prefers front row seating. One thing we sense is that he’s not a fan of being left alone for long periods as I imagine his owner spent much time with his pal. Bo is a sweet dog and is truly a Velcro man!! We’ve been to the vet and other than an Rx for his ear infection and needing to gain a few pounds, he’s a very healthy boy.

His most negative quality is his major GAS—but then again---what Senior Man doesn’t have such things? Perhaps a better food would do the trick! He has been eating well---at first he inhaled his food, but now that he knows he will get 2 squares a day and some treats, he’s more relaxed. Bo has had 2 baths and loves the attention and brushing that is all part of the service. This Boy just thrives on human touch and he’s even a trooper about ear cleanings and meds for his ear infection.

Bo will need a fence in his yard as his history says he chases cars and they do agitate him. He is not real playful, as of yet, but that would make sense if he was a Senior man’s pal. He does great on a leash and loves to walk but does bark while walking if something random catches his eye. Otherwise a very flexible nice SR guy and would make a perfect companion for someone looking for a perfect companion to spend his life with! If you are interested in meeting this sweet senior boy, please email your placement advisor! Bo is ready and waiting for his forever home!

Updates

Hello out there, it’s me Bo, Just checking in with an update for ya. There are so many new things I need to tell you but where should I start……..OH I know…Some lovely lady was seriously checking me out but when I went to her house to meet the cat, I didn’t impress her anymore! I guess I really need a home without fury felines as they will never be my BFF’s! I have been to some RAGOM events and everyone says how handsome and soft I am…they are right!!  I am ready to find my forever home…. so if you are serching for a pal you can walk with, run with, ride with, nap with, or just hang out with, then here I am just waiting for you! I am going hunting this week(Easter eggs) so I will post you some pics of what I flush out for the kids! Happy Easter!

Well….So glad we got through that “noisy” holiday!! Those kids wouldn’t even give me a chocolate bunny!! and I found the loot! J I guess I did get some “other” treats that FM said were more appropriate.  Does Bo sound like a character? Does he sound smart? Maybe even a little set in his ways? Sweet as the day is long though!! Well, what Bo needs in a forever home are walks, other dogs, tennis balls are a must, and NO cats! Bo likes to go on ALL the adventures (rides) that he can be included in. He likes kids and is also trust worthy in the house for long periods and all night….but put the garbage up because he will help himself if you aren’t looking. Bo is a thinker as he tips his head to the side when he looks at something. If this guy sounds like he would be a perfect addition to your family then grab a phone and contact RAGOM as he is happily awaiting! Thanks!!!

To Bo from an admirer! To Bo from an admirer!

“Hello”  to my potential FAMILY out there, this is Bo 11-068 !! My FM is so busy this week that I thought I should do my own update. First I want you to know that on Saturday you can meet my sweet self at PetSmart in Plymouth. My favorite treat is…ALL of them in case you wanted to bring me one!?  Next I want to clear up a few things that my FM was a little mistaken about…. For one thing my gas has gotten much better (well as gas goes) since I am on a food with no grains, not allergic just a sensitive guy! Also I only bark for 1 minute after FM leaves me in the truck (she thought I didn’t see her peaking around the corner at me) but I know she will be back soon so I just sit and wait, like a good boy….silly FM, she gets so worried about me but no need to! I am an amazing guy FM says because I shake so well for a treat, I let her think she taught me cuz she is so proud of herself and me(I heard I was her first foster )

We went for a walk and I decided I didn’t see anything unusual to bark at ……so I didn’t! FM was impressed. I am sure that FM would let you know also that my ear is so much better now but I do like the rubs I get! Now that I know everyone here I never run away from them, so I would be good without a fence. I think I hear someone coming so I just want to say that I am ready for my forever home and hope I meet you on Saturday or get a hold of the great RAGOM helpers!! Thanks, Bo
