Greetings!  Mr. Bo Jangles is so one heck of a golden.  He is tall, lean, and has a square head.  He weighs 77 pounds and is 2 1/2 yrs old. He loves to chew on his tennis ball and bones.  Bo is unavailable at this time because he is heartworm positive and is going through treatment for this.  He spent three whole days in the clinic with vet.  Everyday, he was wagging his tail as he went through the doors to rush into the clinic and would go straight back to the exam area.  I think he thought he was going to doggy daycare.  The technicians fell in love with him as he seemed to think he was a greeter at the clinic.  They all bring their pets to work with them and he seemed to think he was part of the group!  The techs commented on how nice he was to x-ray as he would just lay on the table for them and they would move him and he would stay put.

We love Bo, as he has become acclimated with our family right away.  At the present time, he needs to be kept down and quiet in his kennel (which he doesn't like) but it's for the best at this time.   I will continue to send updates and pictures of Bo.  We return to see the vet in 30 days.  Keep your paws crossed that he is getting well!

Greetings for the city with 25+ inches of snow... yikes.

Bo Jangles has been a perfect angel, we were a bit concerned with his behavior towards a Christmas tree but he didn't try to lift a leg or anything however he is always so happy his tail did manage to knock a few balls and bows off the tree but nothing major to report. He also left all the presents alone, we didn't wrap the golden's presents as I am sure they would have been opened early. Bo Jangles had another treatment on the 19th of December and will have two more, one on January 19th and then the final treatment on February 19th, he will then go to see Doc on the 20th of February to have another scan, keep your paws crossed.

Bo is a total velcro golden, he loves to snuggle and be very close, if he feels he's not getting enough itchies he will put his head on your arm or lap to make sure you get the hint to rub him. Last night he was so tired from being outside in all that snow that he curled up on the sofa with me and hunkered down for a long sleep. He was so tired he was like a bump on a log, I had trouble waking him to go to bed. Once in bed he got up and hit my pillow and let me tell you he's not easy to move.

I have attached a couple of picture for viewing, Bo Jangles seems to be the only one in our home who poses for pictures, he made Christmas Cards a easy task.

Again, a special thank you to his sponsors and donations!

Happy Holidays!

Bo continues to surprise us, he is snuggly and needs to be close and touching...  He loves to help in the kitchen and prefers sports to movies on the television. He loves bones and chew toys and balls

He opted not to dress up for Halloween but he did help hand out candy to the little ghosts and goblins in the neighborhood. I've had trouble taking pictures of Bo because he seems to be quite a ham. When the camera comes out he stands directly in front of it, most of the shots I've taken look the same because of that reason.

It's been very difficult to keep Bo Jangles down and quiet as he is still a puppy and wants to play alot... I have to keep saying no and he doesn't know why. We will return to see Doc in two weeks for 30 day check on Heartworm condition. Keep your paws crossed and hope for the best for him.  He is very sweet and has had 3 families inquiring about him. He is a very lucky guy and he will be adopted as soon as his treatments have ceased.

Special thanks to Renee D. and Fur Friend Riley for sponsoring Bo Jangles... We really appreciate your generosity and kindness.
