Bogart 01-172

Profile

Bogart 01-172 is a 63# red male who turns one year old 6/15/01.  He's sunny, happy, energetic, friendly and was raised with kids all around.  He is will be neutered soon, which we hope will curb his tendency to run if he gets a chance. This is one of the sweetest natured boys I've ever seen, but he needs a family who understands the needs of a young healthy golden boy, and the training involved to instill manners into all that energy!

Dear RAGOM,

We lost our dear Bogart on May 29.  He would have been 13 years old on June 15.  Thank you for what you do for these sweet doggies and their adopted families.  We had an amazing 12 years with the most wonderful dog on earth.

Here’s a picture of him from this spring.

Thanks again,

The C Family

Dear RAGOM,

I've been meaning to contact you for about 11 years now!  We adopted Bogart (we kept his name because it is adorable and it fits him) on June 24, 2001.  Bogart had just turned 1.  He is now a healthy 12-year old.  We lived in Iowa at the time and picked him up in Minneapolis on the way home from a visit to my family in Duluth.

He has been the best dog ever and has enhanced our lives in countless ways.

We now live on a rural acreage in rural Kansas and adopted another golden from the humane society in Topeka.  Murphy, our golden girl, has been a great partner for Bogart and, we believe, has kept him young.  Both are OBSESSED with tennis balls and have worked together to develop tennis-ball games they will plan endlessly.

I thought you might enjoy a current picture of Bogart and his 7-year old sister, Murphy.

Thanks so much for keeping Bogart for us so we could find him!
