We adopted Bond (his name was Joey) last November. The picture above (from January 20th) was taken while we were visiting my daughter in Omaha. Bond, having spent the day entertaining our two dogs (Fletcher, 10 year old Golden/lab, and Evie, a 4 year old labradoodle), my daughter's pug, and my three year old granddaughter, was exhausted.
Bond (yes, we really have formed a bond) is the most even tempered, clever, go-along-get-along dog I have ever known. At nine months, he has now moved to level two obedience training.
His other name is Resdog. He was initially rescued from a reservation on the border of MN, and clearly acquired a love for the outdoor life. He will spend hours playing with his pack mates, or if they go in, entertaining himself in our backyard. Bond is happy simply sitting in the snow, the wind whipping through his fur, king of his domain.
He goes to Dog Day Getaway two mornings a week, and apparently is part of a very playful crew that chooses to spend their time playing outside.
I am so thankful Ragom rescued him, as he was due to be destroyed. Because he has such a good nose, and is such a quick learner, my husband and I are looking into rescue dog training for ourselves and Bond.
