Armani was to the vet today.  He enjoyed meeting all the dogs and was a perfect boy in the exam room.  Armani is up to date on his shots and other than being very thin, he is healthy.  The Vet was sure that his age is closer to 1, instead of the estimated age of 3 that he was provided at the shelter.  Armani rides well in our SUV.  However, it takes some coaxing to get him to jump into the vehicle.  Armani desperately would like our resident dog to play with him, which hasn’t happened yet.  He would definitely be a great play companion to a young dog at his furever home. 

Armani has been kid tested and could easily be around very little kids.  He is very gentle.  He will place his head very gently on our lap to be petted. He never pushes himself on us for attention, but sits back and waits to be invited.  If we are busy, he quietly lays on the rug at the front door.  He likes to go to the park.  He would very much like to chase squirrels, but does respond to no.  He is not interested in counter surfing or begging for food.  I haven’t heard him bark.  He is always very happy to see us and has adapted easily to our routine.  As you can tell from his pictures, he is absolutely beautiful.  He will be a fabulous addition to any family.
