Brady was adopted! His new dad is so excited to have him in the family. He will never be lonely with his new dog sister, Lucy, to play with all the time and run around in his fenced yard.
We will miss you sweet Brady, but we know you will have a great life!

Brady continues to be just a cute little bundle of energy! I'm happy to report that he still has not had a seizure in the 2 months he's been with us. He continues to take Phenobarbital and is doing great.
He loves to run around and play and he sure loves his foster sister, Bella. She really is a saint for putting up with Brady's constant need to wrestle.
Keeping Brady active will be important as he tends to get into a little mischief when he's bored. Another playful sibling (fur or human) would be ideal! We go for daily walks and he just loves it. He just trots along and is so easygoing.
Brady loves everyone he sees. We are still working on "down" with him when he greets people as he just gets so excited and wants to play.
His neuter appointment is this Friday and then he will be ready for his forever home!

I would like to introduce the sweetest little guy, Brady, to RAGOM! Brady came to us as his owners said he had been having seizures and were not sure they could manage his care. He has settled in so well with us and his Golden Retriever foster sister, Bella.
We are happy to report that Brady has been with us over a month now and has not had a seizure the entire time. He is on a prescription of Phenobarbital, which he takes twice a day (about $18/month), and had bloodwork completed two weeks after he started the prescription. His results were all normal and the vet said he seemed very healthy.
The plan is to continue him on his prescription for a period of time, possibly decreasing his dose at some point. Once he is in his new home, his vet can determine what to do long term. Since we have never experienced a seizure with him, it’s a bit unknown if this will be an issue in his future.
Brady loves to play and wrestle with Bella all day. He still has that puppy energy so if there is another dog in the home, they should be OK with that. Bella will let him know when she’s tired and had enough, and Brady will go find a toy to play with and leave her be.
He is a very smart boy. If he needs to go outside, he will go and tap on the patio door. He loves to meet new people but will need to work on keeping “down”. So far, he knows how to “sit” and “stay”, but he is so food/treat motivated that I feel he will learn so much more.
When he first arrived, he would try to escape out the door when opened, but now he has learned to stay, and it hasn’t been an issue. He really has learned so much from his foster sister.
We typically go for a walk every day, and he is doing so well. At first, I felt like a puppeteer managing both leashes as Brady was all over the place. We eventually settled on the gentle leader, which Bella also uses, and it is so much more manageable.
When we are not home, he is gated in our mud room and at night he sleeps in our bedroom in his kennel. He loves to go for car rides and he even gets to go to work with me most of the time.
Brady would loves to be outside and a home with a fenced yard to run around in would be ideal, although it is not required.
He gets along with everyone, although he has not been tested with cats. He is not much of a cuddler, but he follows me EVERYWHERE, which is great so I can keep an eye on him. He will plop his furry body near me on the couch or bed, but has no problem laying right across Bella.
Brady has one more vaccination on May 6, and then two weeks after that is cleared to be neutered, which is scheduled for May 20. After that Brady is available to adopt.
