Breanna 08-324

Profile

Breanna arrived safe and sound to her new foster home tonight. She is a 9 month old black golden retriever who is spayed, up to date on shots, and enjoys the company of dogs and people. She loves to play and her fur is as soft as silk!

She was a little hesitant of new people at first but warmed up to us quickly. She made herself right at home snuggling on the sofa with us. She gets along well with our cats, and has been exposed to children who she also gets along well with! She is an all around great dog looking for her forever home. If you have a place in your heart and home for this beautiful mix please email placementatragom [dot] org.

I am writing an update on Breanna. Her new family had decided to call her Bridget, because we just had a new addition to the family and her name is Brianna. Bridget's family did not want her to be confused if someone was calling Brianna.

I thought everyone would like to know that her new mom & dad love her to death. She is so spoiled. Bridget came over to Grandma's house to meet her today she barked at me but warmed up right away. She loves playing with her new sister Charmin the black lab they get along just great. Bridget has gone to a doggie park and roller blading with her mom. Here are a few picture that Grandma got of her and her new sister Charmin.

Breanna got a ride up to Minnesota on the 4th of July. She met 6 dogs at another RAGOM volunteer's house and then another 6 at my house. She is doing great! She plays with all of the dogs here. She listens when they say they have had enough play time. She also will growl and bark right back if any of them give her guff. She is not aggressive in any way.

Her favorite game is chase me or let me chase you! That is her chasing visiting dog Sammy with my Skye and Mickey 08-301 in the background. And she body slams and wrestles with Sammy, Skye or Mickey--whomever is ready to play. Breanna settles down nicely when I ask her to--or on her own when she is tired. She listens when I call her away from alerting at the fence or the door.

Breanna has had free roam for up to 4 hours and no accidents nor destruction. She is a beautiful young, Golden Retriever mixed with something--Border Collie? Lab? Her coat is curly, soft, long and black. Everything except her head looks like a Flat-Coated Retriever. She's also sweet and wants to be near me--but not to excess. She will need obedience training to help cement basic commands and to help with the bonding to her new family. If you are interested in a young, happy, pup who is not crazy with energy, let placementatragom [dot] org know!
