Hello Everyone,

My name is Sandy. I am a little over four years old. I am a retired breeding female. I am a very quiet girl. As you can see from my pictures, I love to just be lazy and lay on the couch. I am house trained. I will go into a crate....but I do not like to (unwillingly). I am not a very active dog; I do not play fetch, chase anything, or chew on things. I just love to be around YOU. Since I came from a breeder, I have had little exposure to many things. Loud noises, like the garage door opener, scare me and I will run to you for safety. I have met many dogs and and have enjoyed meeting them, but I would rather be with You. I have not met many young kids so I do not know how to feel about them yet. I am learning how to go up and down stairs. I love to go for walks and do not pull on my lead.

This morning I went into the vet and got spayed and all my shots up-to-date. I am even micro chipped. Since I a learning many new things I do not have a good idea of what my perfect home would look like. some ideas would include, no kids under 10, not many steps or things to jump over, someone home a lot since I, as of yet, do not like the crate much (Once I am in it I am fine), and one where I don't have to go on many car rides. I am still learning about those. I have learned that I like lake water especially on hot days, but I do not swim. I only wade. If you want a loving quiet couch buddy; I'm your gal! More later, enjoy the pictures.

We thought Ragom would like to see how our beautiful Breezy (formerly known as Sandra) is doing. Breezy is the sweetest girl, she just fits in great (we LOVE her so very much.) Doppler and her have become the best of friends, they do every thing together!

Breezy is working on becoming a TDI Therapy Dog. She will be great at it. She just loves everyone! Doppler and Breezy love playing ball, running, swimming, and looking for little critters that live under our shed! Boy that is fun!!!!!! Breezy, has taught Doppler a lot of things that dogs need to know. Like how to run from one side of the shed to the other, hunting for those little varmints, is hard work! Then it is time to get a nice cool drink, and don't forget about that nap! They are so very sweet to each other. We are so very happy we found Ragom. A big to THANK YOU ALL for all the hard work that you all do! You change the lives of these dogs and their families!!! We love you.

Hey Sandy Fans!!!! Happy Fall! Sandy sure is enjoying the beautiful fall weather. She likes to go to the apple tree and find apples that have fallen off and play with it like a ball. She will throw it up in the air then chase after it! So funny to watch. Sandy would eat it when she is done playing with it if we let her.

Sandy also has been busy practicing her chipmunk chasing skills. She and our resident will chase one into the rain gutter, and what excitement that is trying to get it out!! Sandy will also chase squirrel's, so Sandy’s forever home should not have cats or other small animal’s.

Sandy continues to have some storm anxiety. She will start pacing and panting. We will place her in the crate when this behavior starts, and Sandy will sit in the crate, she does not whine or cry, the create is a safe place for her to go during a storm.

She is a pretty  mellow gal otherwise and would love for you to come and visit her.

Hi All,

First of all, a BIG THANK YOU to Sandy's Goldzilla Friend!!!

Sandy continues to settle into our family. She has run of the house at night. We had been letting her have run of the house when we went on errands, but she has decided that getting into the garbage is much more fun. As such we have been putting her in the crate. She is created for up to 8 hours with no issues. Leave it to Sandy, to decide that she likes to swim...in the Fall! She has also recently discovered a love for chasing down tennis balls....although bringing them back is still a learning element. We have taken a lot of new pictures and hope that you enjoy them.

She still loves her brushes.

Sandy comes when called, even when she is in prey mode...those darn squirrels! We have been taking her on more car rides and she is learning to like them. We even took her to a soccer game. With all of the commotion, all she wanted was pets.

Sandy’s perfect home is one where her new family is not gone very often. She likes to go for walks and is getting better on the gentle leader. She has met many other dogs and people and as long as she gets some attention, she is fine. When she doesn’t, she will nudge her way into the ‘conversation’.

Sandy’s ideal day starts out at 6:30am getting up and going outside. 7:00am breakfast and a snooze on the couch. 10:00am into the kitchen to help you ‘do the dishes’ and then another snooze. Noon she is ‘helping’ make lunch often providing constructive feedback on its taste and texture. Then its on the bed for a nice nap...as long as you are there as well. About 3:00pm its time to get up and go outside. Use the bathroom, and a quick patrol of the yard for any chipmunks. Then back in to the house to watch the ‘stories’. Super time is at 5:00 and after she eats its time for another patrol of the yard and a quick look at the lake: no-no Sandy not now. After the evenings activities it is right to bed. Yes, she loves to sleep in our bed. She is a very loving and girl whose only goal is to make your day all the better. If you would like to meet her, let your advisor know..she would LOVE to meet you!

Sandy has settled into our family. She has mastered the up & down aspects of stairs. We have made progress on her storm anxiety, but she does better in a crate. She like to sleep on the bed with us, until she gets too hot; then is on to the floor.

We have been letting Sandy run in the house, when we have had short errands to run. For long periods, she stays in our room (with free roam) with our resident dog. Occasionally, she will take a sock or belt for a little trip, but nothing chewed.

Sandy like to chase things....chipmunks, squirrels, etc. We continue to go on walks and she does well on a short lead. She recognizes her name, and will return when called. We have not given her the opportunity to chase anything beyond the length of our lead. Sandy has met many different dogs and has done fine with them Enjoy the pictures of our fine lady.
