Warm and sunny greetings to my admirers and future friends. Now that the sidewalks are melting, FM, my 2 resident roomies and I have to walk in the streets. But, hey, I am NOT complaining...a walk is a walk. When FM comes home from work, I follow her until she changes clothes...the walking kind! Then I go to the closet to wait for my leash. Sometimes my roomies knock me over, but I WILL NOT move until I get my collar and leash. I want to be sure to remind you...my 6th birthday is Friday the 21st...birthday bones make such GReat gifts...one size fits all. A furever family would also be nice. FM really loves me and I am comfortable here, but there is another dog out there waiting for a foster home. I will treat you right and you will never be lonely, ever. Bruiser I was pooped after a long, wet walk and SHE just had to take my picture!

Foster Mom FINALLY took a few more pictures of me. I am not sure she understands that my furever family is waiting for updated pictures and news. Well, I went to the vet last week and won the hearts of everyone. You see, my friends Sasha and Grayson, do not always use their indoor manners when they go to the vet. But I walked in with my head held high, greeted the humans with a respectable nudge, and then quietly waited for my turn. It seems that my thyroid does not function correctly, so FM gives me a tiny pill everyday. The results will be a beautiful, soft coat and I will be able to lose a few pounds. Just in time for the swimming season! Talk about turning some heads! I will probably have the ladies falling all over me! Oh, by the way, I DO NOT look like an unmade bed anymore. FM and I spend quality time with brushes, combs and even clippers. I hope my new family will spend time brushing me. Speaking of my furever home, I have some requirements and requests. I require at least one walk everyday, which is a good way to lose the weight and to bond with my family. I require a good dog food for the weight impaired. I will bring my own bed and bowls but request that my bed be next to my families. Children are my speciality. I do not jump or kiss a lot, but have been known to surprise my friends (dogs, big and small humans) with a quick lick. It has been GReat talking to you, but it is bedtime and FM wants to turn off the lights and the computer. My friend Grayson is on the left.

I have just moved into my permanent foster home. It was so hard to leave Dorothy, as she let me come to stay with her for a week and I loved living with her. Would you like to hear how my first 2 days have been? I will tell you anyway.
There are 2 other Goldens that live here, a boy and a girl. And do you know what; I was not very nice to them yesterday. With this cold weather, a long car ride and a new foster mom, I was just not in the mood to deal with yet another change. After a good supper and a good pooper, I nestled up to FM on the couch. She even kissed me! Then I really felt bad about being so grumpy with Sasha and Grayson. I promised myself that I would be the good boy I really am, after a good night's sleep.
FM will not be happy with me, because I am going to tell you a secret. She did not make her bed this morning and had the nerve to tell me that I, the handsome fellow that I am, looked like an unmade bed! She can fix both problems... make her bed and give me a few sessions at the beauty shop. I will keep you posted!
Time for a kiss from FM and cuddle time on the couch...FM thinks she can train me to stay off the furniture, but the other dogs get on the couch when she leaves, so I will just 'pretend', too. Works every time with these humans.
Bruiser
FM here. Bruiser is a most affectionate, quiet, sweet Golden. He was so overwhelmed yesterday with all the changes, but what a trooper. Today he appears to be relaxed and ready to learn how to become the perfect Golden, for the perfect family. He does have hypothyroidism, and will start on meds. He will then be able to drop a few pounds and his coat will soften up. What a handsome dog he will be.
Please let RAGOM know if you would like to meet Bruiser...please don't let his name scare you...he is way too sweet to be a bruiser.
