Buddha (Asher 08-561)

Profile

I would like to unveil some beautiful puppies. Lauren 08-498 gave birth to 11 pups last Saturday (November 15, 2008) and everyone is doing well.  Asher is wearing a silver collar. We aren't sure if the pups are purebred goldens or if the are golden doodles. The girls are quite a bit smaller than the chubby boys:) I will write more as they start to get their personalities:)

Buddha passed away December 15, 2020. He was an absolute joy to have as a member of our family. He was the perfect dog and loved his brothers, human and fur. He was gentle and loving to everyone.

Buddha will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was a big part of our family and are heartbroken that he is gone.

Thank you for letting us adopt this wonderful fur baby.

Now that the Holidays and 4 birthdays are for the most part over I can sit down and write some updates:)  The little pups that I saw born 6 weeks ago are huge and beautiful:) Not to mention two weeks away from being able to go to their forever homes.  If you are interested in adopting one of these pups don't wait too long because there are only a couple more spots left.  I will be putting more pictures up soon but I couldn't wait any longer to get their 5 week pictures on the website.

Asher at 5 weeks

These guys are all so active now and are driving their mom crazy:)  They love to sink their teeth into anything they can.  I have put all sorts of chew toys in their pen.  Whenever we go in to clean or play they love to chew on us and those little teeth can sting:)  But it's all worth the fun of playing with them.  My resident dog likes to join them in the pen and play with them too.  She is like the auntie that gives poor mom a break:)  Mom is still letting them snack but they are having 3-4 regular meals and drinking water too.  I will have to start thinking about the weaning process soon.  I'm sure Lauren won't mind too much not having those teeth on her:)  I am also going to start getting them used to being crated for short amounts of time and take a trip outside when it's not too cold.

Asher is definitely one of my favorites:) His personality is really blossoming and he is just a cutie. He loves getting his human contact everyday and likes playing with the resident dog:)

Asher here, the cutest of all the pups! I have the blingy silver ribbon on. I love to try an escape the confines of my nest/pool. As a matter of fact I have gotten quite good at it. My friend Kelly brought my foster mom over something called an exercise pen so I won't be able to escape (ha ha they don't think so). From what I've overheard the RAGOM volunteers are the best. They gave me food, newpaper -so I can go potty, more food and pens (thanks Maria). You guys are the best. My mom has to eat a lot so she can feed me. A 40lb bag doesn't last long when you eat 10+ cups a day:) So thanks Kelly B and everyone else who set her up with kibble:)
