I am very happy to welcome Buddy into RAGOM. Buddy is a 9 month old intact (for now) male who was surrendered due to excessively flaky skin, probably caused by allergies. Buddy has been through puppy kindergarten and is very well behaved for a puppy. He was outside with us all day yesterday enjoying the first beautiful day of the year, and not only stayed in our yard, but came running full-speed each time we called him! Buddy is going to go on a food elimination diet & take some supplements to hopefully help his allergies. He has a pretty bad yeast infection in both ears, and is on medication for this as well. He seems to have a lot of tenderness & decreased range in his left hip & knee, but because he was so tense at the vet today, she was not able to check it as well as needed. He will get an x-ray when he's neutered to fully evaluate his leg. We will keep him on as low activity as we can for now until it can be checked. Oh, and he gets a bit sick in the car, but now that we know that, we'll be better prepared next time we go out!! As far as foster dogs go, we are feeling like we hit the jackpot with Buddy!!
