Buddy is a 9 year old, intact male, purebred Golden. He weighs about 75 pounds and has lived with several other dogs and does very well. Buddy is not UTD, nor has he been on HW or F/T preventative. He seems to be housetrained and rides well in a car. He doesn't have any anxiety or aggression issues. He does ok when he is in a crate, but it is not easy to persuade him to go in. He will stiffen his body and resist, but once inside he seems to be ok.
Buddy is from a back yard breeder but is very mellow. He loves to play fetch so he has been somewhat socialized. I believe he's been around kids as he waits at the feet of the high chair waiting for something to fall. Buddy would be fine in a home with small or grown children as he has played with both the last few days. He knows all the basic commands. We will get him into the vet this week for his shots and neutering, so he will be able to find his forever family.

Buddy went to the vet last week and started his heartworm treatment, so less than 3 weeks and this big old teddy bear could be yours so don't wait, he might be gone if you wait too long. He did fine with the shots and was happy to come home. Buddy is a great house guest, he doesn't counter surf but does keep an eye on the floor for whatever might fall. Buddy will let you do anything with him, poor dog.
