Buddy is such a happy boy! His tail is always wagging and he has a big smile on his face. Buddy is such an easy guy to get along with too. He has met a lot of dogs since we took him in and I don't think he has an aggressive bone in his body. His owner said he also does well with cats. Buddy's owners for the first five years of his life did a great job of teaching him manners and they gave him a great life so far. Buddy's primary caregiver sadly passed away unexpectedly and his other owner was unable to keep him due to frequent travel for work.

Buddy has had one accident in our house since he has been with us and I think it was just first day jitters. He is good about holding his bladder otherwise. We saw the vet and just about everyone at the office fell in love with him immediately! He is very healthy but could stand to lose a little weight. We will be getting him lots of exercise and see how he likes swimming on those hot days.

If you are looking for a wonderful family dog or a loving pup companion, Buddy is the perfect guy! He immediately reminded us of the dog from the movie "Up." He is so eager to please and loves to be near people. We'll provide another update soon!
