Buddy 11-371

Profile

My name is Buddy and I thought I'd share my Personals ad with you!

BMGR (Beautiful Male Golden Retriever) - About me: Blonde, big brown eyes, 6 years old, approximately 80#'s, I love humans of every size, I love and respect other dogs, I have no interest in cats.  I'm looking for a forever family that I can follow around the house and keep you company.  I appear to be housebroken (that's what foster mom says because I haven't had any accidents since I arrived here yesterday).  I will visit with the Doc. today to get all up to date on my shots and have them look at my ears because they're pretty dirty.

If you think we could be a MATCH, please contact your placement advisor.  In the meantime, enjoy the pictures - I'm told that I'm very photogenic...what do YOU think?

Apparently, my personals ad was very effective, because someone responded almost immediately after it was posted saying she would love to meet me! She is perfect for me and RAGOM arranged for us to meet. I was a little nervous because I'm a tad overweight, my ears are pretty dirty, and my curly coat is a little dry and wiry - you see, before I came to RAGOM, I was an outside dog at a farm and I never went to the vet in my entire life. Foster Mom says with some good food, a little exercise, and some TLC, I should drop the pounds in no time and my coat will be beautiful, so I was hoping this lady could look past those things.

When she came over, she looked at my big brown eyes (see picture below for how good I am at giving puppy-dog eyes!), I batted my long blonde eyelashes, and looked longingly back at her and I just turned to mush! It was love at first sight! I think my new mom kinda liked me too because she said she wanted to take me home right then and there! Foster Mom was happy too, but she said I could't go home just yet because I had to have a little surgery first - she said I had to get "neutered" first because it's the cool thing to do these days. My new mom came back for me a couple days later though, just like she promised, and I got to go home with her in her big van with cushy dog beds in it instead of the normal people seats! And I have a new fur sister, Abby, who also came from RAGOM, so she understands where I'm coming from and can show me around. I'm sure I will fall in love with her too and we will be best buds!

Thank you RAGOM for your matchmaking services and helping me find my new home! I am so grateful, and I get to spend Thanksgiving with her too! Before I sign off though, I wanted to share a couple more pictures of how handsome I am!

Puppy-dog eyes!

I'm sorry, what did you say? You think I'm handsome? Why, yes, I am, thank you!
