Hello,

We lost our sweet baby Buddy boy 17-200 on Aug 12th and wanted to let you know. Just not the same here without him. I have stayed in contact with his amazing and wonderful foster Ginny P. and also let her know.

We are heartbroken as he was the sweetest, happiest baby and we loved him dearly. If you keep contact with previous owners, please let him know Buddy adapted so well here and was very loved and spoiled.

We stayed with him to the end and let him know what a good boy he was. He had bone cancer and believed colon cancer. Took him to 2 specialty clinics in Iowa City and Des Moines but was told we needed to let him go now. Hardest thing ever but couldn't let our baby suffer.

I posted on the RAGOM adopted dogs FB group with beautiful pics of our precious Buddy. We appreciate soooo much letting Buddy adopt us and treated him like the family member he was to us. We thank Ginny and RAGOM for everything!

I've included pics that show how special he was. He got along with everyone including our other 2 pups....He made us so happy until we had to lose him....

So many wonderful applicants! Thanks for all the positive interest! Buddy has met his forever family and is fitting in. He enjoys the company of two young dogs, a large fenced yard plus a homemaker/dog lover, who loves to spoil all her babies.

Last week, by Buddy.

Are you waiting to hear about my vet visit?  He thought I was younger than seven! Four or five! Then he looked at my teeth! I have a fractured molar, but it doesn't seem to bother me. A dental could be in my future.

And yes, I have bilateral mild ear infections. Big surprise, I am a Golden! After a thorough cleaning, I enjoy home cleanings and antibiotics. Foster Mom says, I am such a good boy!

I may not mind having my ears cleaned and teeth brushed, but I am not perfect! My nails need work and I do not care for that!

I am helping Foster Mom farm sit for couple weeks. Lots of wonderful scents and trails to follow. Wish it would stop raining! I love driving out to the country and jump right up in the SUV and ride quietly. By the way, do you know how troublesome burdock is in the fall? I seem to find some every day. I try to help Foster Mom get it out of my beautiful tail before it tangles up.

Buddy adjusted to his foster home without difficulty. I was amazed! He made fostering easy!

We had a thunderstorm. No problem. House training? No problem. A great traveling companion, too.

Buddy lived with a fenced-in yard, but he walks with a harness and little pulling, except when a squirrel pops up behind the tree,

Animal companions include: three dogs, one 20 pounder, who thinks he is bigger and four cats. He has met chickens and horses. No problem.

No medical history, so seeing the vet for the exam and vaccinations soon.

See you later, Buddy
