Hi everyone!  Here's Bugsy...

She's about 6 months old and 35 pounds. Seems like a very lovable, sweet girl! She's pretty light in color with a pretty white face. However, she's a little scared after her trip up to Minnesota from Iowa! A big shout out of thanks to everyone who helped transport this sweet gal!

Hi All Bugsy here again!  FD says I am getting really good at this typing thing so I can keep doing it!  I had a really busy week last week, but it was much more fun than going to the vet like the week before.

On Monday FD and my Human Foster Sister all went to Petco for some practice.  I never knew they had places like this, there were all sorts of cool things there.  I really like watching the birds in their cages, how cool is that, a place for me to go and watch birds.  My FS really likes to look at the fish, I don't really understand them, all they do is swim in circles.  I met another puppy there too, he had just been adopted from another rescue and was out to get a bed.  Also, while at Petco, some very nice people that work there just had to pet me so of course I let them.

Petco was a great experience, and the week was full of new ones!  FD took me on lots of walks to new places, I am amazed at all the new smells there are out there.  We also went on a lot of car rides.  I am still not too sure of them, FD has to pick me up to get in the car, but I will lay down and relax or just sit there and look around, but the best part is when the ride is over, I will now get out of the car all by myself!

On Saturday we went for another car ride, but this time, FD dropped me off with another family to head to a RAGOM event at Pet Smart in Waterloo.  WOW so many dogs and so many people.  I was a little nervous and spent a little bit of time under the table but after they got me out I convinced some nice people to let me lay in their lap since I am such a small girl.  The other family told FD and FM when they picked me up that I was the most comfortable when children were petting me!  I love kids they are so much fun!

On Sunday night, I overheard Mom talking about me to someone on the phone!  And guess what!! I am going to meet my possible Forever home on SATURDAY!!!!! YEAH!!!

Well it is time for me to run, FM needs her computer back!  Hope everyone has a great week and I will keep you updated as what happens with my possible home visit!

Hey Everyone, Bugsy Here.....So Foster Mom and Dad said I could write you a quick note to tell you about my weekend.  It was pretty crazy here, in addition to my human foster sister, we had three other little girls and one other adult here this weekend.  It was really fun, as you can see from one of the pictures, I got to go on lots of walks.  I am getting really good at walking on a leash, I do need a little help from a gentle leader, but I was able to let a 8 year walk me this weekend.

With the girls here this weekend it meant lots of petting, Buddy and Zoe the resident dogs loved all of the attention that the girls gave them, I was a little shy at first but then I let them feel my soft fur and then they wouldn't stop petting me.

I made Foster Dad take some more pictures of me, so everyone can see how pretty I am.  Everyone keeps saying how pretty my coloring is, so I decided it was a good time to show it off in the wonderful weather we are having here in Iowa!

I am having a great time here with everyone, Foster Dad told me that I am going to the Vet on Thursday, not so sure about that, last time I was there they made me take some pills for my Heartworm, but I am all finished with those. Hopefully they won't give me any more pills.  As for our plans this weekend, Foster Dad said we didn't have any but if I am lucky enough maybe someone will want to come meet me!  I am a little shy at first but once I get to know them, they can pet me all they want.

Foster Dad is telling me it is time to wrap it up....So until next time.......Woof Woof!

Bugsy made the trip back down to Iowa on Tuesday and did very well in the car.  After the long ride she was very anxious about coming in and meeting two big black resident dogs Buddy and Zoe.  Right away Bugsy bonded with both dogs and we headed inside to meet the rest of the family, our 3 year old daughter and 2 cats.  Bugsy LOVES our daughter, she jumped right up on the couch and snuggled up with her, it was the cutest thing to see.

We have learned a lot in the past couple of days about Bugsy.  She is completely crate trained and house trained.  She has yet to ask to go out but is will go when you take her! (YEAH)   The first night she was here she slept in her kennel all night without a peep.

In the last 24 hours Bugsy has been showing more of her puppy side.  She is wanting to play with the other dogs in the house much more.  She is still not sure what a toy is yet, but we are working on introducing them to her.  She has tried to steal a sock and a blanket to chew on but we are working with her to use that energy to chew on some rawhides.

She is a little weary of men but has warmed up to the male in our house within a couple of days.  She is also shy about doorways but is getting better each time and with the other dogs running right through that fear is quickly being conquered.

Bugsy is going to the vet next week to get spayed and is ready to have a family to love.  She will be a forever loyal dog.

Bugsy got UTD at the vet yesterday....While we were at the vet, I noticed how pretty her eyelashes are! Her face is so white, but her top eyelashes are dark yellow like her ears...What a sweet girl!

She looks like she'll stay a pretty petite size, as her legs are rather short and her paws aren't very big.
