12/14/05: Hi All!

Butch here, made it to my foster home with no problems. My family decided to surrender me to RAGOM because they could not spend a lot of time with me and thought it would be better to find someone who could. They loved me a lot and it was a hard decision.

I am a year and a half old, neutered, and my foster mom says I could stand to loose a couple of pounds (a diamond in the rough she said)!! I will be going to the vet in the next couple of days to get checked out.

I love to be out in the snow! I stick my nose in the snow and sniff around, and then I just lay down. I do get a little mouthy when I get excited, and bark at the resident dog 'cuz I want to play! More later this week.

Hey Everyone,

Butchy is in house! X-mas and New Years have come and gone and I am still with a foster family? What's up with that? Let me give 'ya the 411 on myself: I have lost at least 10 pounds, I ride in the car really well, and I love to meet new people. My favorite game to play is tug, I love to get my tummy rubbed, and I get along with all the other dogs I met. Now for the bad stuff: I LOVE to be a stinker and pick up mittens, socks, stuffed animals and pretty much anything else that will get 'yer dander up; and if you try and get it.....well that just turns into a wonderful game of chase!

I love to be around people but when I get to play'in, watch out; once my big 'ol body gets to a moven, it just keeps go-in. I think it would be best if I went to a home with no really small kids as I might knock them down. Even through I like other dogs, I really want to be an 'only child'. When there are no other dogs around, I am so mellow....just a mellow golden fellow. I have included a few more pictures.
