5/2/06: Let me introduce you to Little Ms. Callie. She is one sweet little girl. She came to me late Monday night and will be spending a few days with me until she can make it to her other foster home. Let me tell you a bit about this wonderful young lady.

Callie is around 5 months old and is a darker blonde beauty. I don't think that she is all Golden but she is close to it. She does have a white patch on her chest and she has very different nails - they look like she took a trip to the salon and had a pedicure done. They are a pretty tannish color.

A nice lady rescued Callie from impound late Monday because her time was up and Callie would have been put to sleep. She smelled soooo bad when I got her and I was told that she'd had a bath and now smelled 90% better than before. We got home and started to settle in for bed. Callie was teathered to my bed and she proceeded to chew through the leash, so I had to get the outside tie out and bring that in to use. But she slept through the night and was eager to get outside in the morning. Callie had a smelly surprise for me when I got home from work today. Thank heaven for crates - my poor little girl had gotten sick and just could not hold it. The good part was, it was all in the crate - the bad part was, Callie was covered in lots of very smelly poop. So we headed right outside. I called the vet, hosed her off and we went to see Dr. A. All of the tests came up negative so we are hoping that it's just nerves. She is on some meds to help settle her tummy.

Callie is all up to date with her shots she just needs to be spayed and start to feel better and she can be yours. She is such a sweet and kind little girl. She deserves the best. And I promise that she will smell like a pretty little girl when you meet her!
