Callie 12-014

Profile

Callie is a 6 week old, female Golden Retriever mix that just arrived this week. She came into the RAGOM family with her mama 12-012 Bonnie and brother 12-013 Loki, and was transported by our wonderful volunteers all the way from a reservation on the border of South Dakota and Nebraska. Callie weighs 8.5 pounds, has beautiful blue eyes and is in perfect health.  She had her first round of puppy shots and will need the next round in four weeks.  Callie will stay with her mama until she is 8 weeks old, be spayed and then will be ready for her forever family!

She is a sweet typical puppy - loves to snuggle, wrestle with her brother, slepp, eat and start all over again!
Calie is doing fantastic with potty training and has only had one accident in the house (which was my fault).  She keeps her kennel clean and now sleeps in her crate overnight without needing to go out.

The puppies discovered their reflection in the window, barked, cocked their head and jumped back and forth - SOOOOOOO cute!

And yes, sthe still has the wonderful puppy smell!  Please contact your placement advisor if you'd like to learn more about this beautiful girl!

Callie has been with us for almost two weeks. She has been doing very well and is incredible at potty training. Just a few accidents, but amazing compared to any puppy I’ve fostered. I can’t believe how fast she has picked it up.

Callie is the typical puppy. Loves to roam and explore and has a ton of energy. She’s done very well with other dogs she’s come in contact with, and loves to play with her brother. She’s full of puppy kisses and graciously accepts the ohhhh’s and ahhh’s of passer bys. She’s even attracted the attention of our neighborhood escape artist lab mix. At least her owner knows where to come when she’s missing from the backyard.

Callie LOVES being outside and rolling around in the snow. I’m sure she will thoroughly enjoy outdoor activities with her forever family.

The puppies are growing like crazy!  And I think their mama is ready for them to be done nursing. :)  They are still doing very well with potty training, and continue to be silly, playful puppies.  They don't sleep that often, but it's hard to get photos of them on the move!

The puppies were playing in one room while my resident Mia and their mama Bonnie looked in.
