Welcome to RAGOM, Sasha. We are so happy the MN Valley Humane Society called RAGOM to find you a home.  Sasha met our two resident Newfoundlands and our resident RAGOM dog Sophee without any issues.  Sasha walked into a new environment with no problems.  In her previous home she had a fence, had another dog, and lived with no children. However, she has been child tested and shows absolutely no problems with them.

We have found that Sasha know sit, down, and off and maybe shake - not sure yet.  Sasha definitely needs a bath and a good brushing.  It looks like someone did a lovely scissor cut on her.  So we will see what we can do about that.

Sasha is a wonderful happy girl that LOVES foster dad.  In fact she has NOT left his side.  So I think this is a great sign.  Are you ready for a nice, happy, well adjusted girl?  Please contact placementatRAGOM [dot] org to meet her.

Today has been a great day for Sasha.  It’s hot, so we have been lying down and trying to sleep, but every time someone gets up and walks somewhere Sasha feels she needs to go along.  There is no leaving her behind.

She seems to be potty trained, has never really told us she has to go out, but she will go potty when we go outside.  We went on our first walk last night and that went great with just her collar on - no Gentle Leader and she did not pull at all.  She wanted to be in the lead, but when we said heel, she would come back and heel.  Sasha knows sit and down VERY well.  When she is trying to get in the middle of things we just ask her to lie down and she will.

Last night she went to sleep right away.  At first she was thinking the bed would be the best place to sleep, but that changed very quickly and she went to sleep on the floor by Rick’s side of the bed.  If she sees Rick move at any time she immediately goes to find him - they are usually attached at the hip.  No dog has ever taken to him like Sasha has.

Sophee Bear (light colored dog) and Sasha (darker color) have started to play, but the best part is, Sasha’s tail is no longer tucked between her legs - it is so nice to see it wagging.  She also has started to play with a few of the stuffed animals in the house.  Now I hope Sophee does not show her how to destuff them!

Thanks for looking at Sasha; she is a wonderful little girl!
