Cazmere-Su 11-153

Profile

RAGOM welcomes a new family member - I'm pleased to introduce you to Cazmere-Su, Caz for short!

Caz's family had medical issues and since Caz is a typical purebred golden retriever, he would get in the way sometimes (under your feet) and knock the owner down due to his velcro personality.  His family was so sad to surrender him but couldn't take a chance in a possible long term injury.

Caz is 4 years old and approximately 120 pounds of GR love!  Although he can afford to lose a little weight, this boy is just BIG!  We're certain that he'll lose a few pounds being chased by our two resident girls:-)

Caz will have his first vet appointment and get his medical priorities in order tomorrow.

We will keep you posted on what we learn about this big guy but so far, he is PERFECT!

Caz, with his foster sisters Jayden (09-023) and Maggie (10-332)

Updates

Sunday, May 15, 2011

Hello to all my fans - Caz here!

As promised, FM & FD said we'd keep you updated as they got to know me.  Here's what they've found out so far:

  • We heard from the Doc and my HW test came back negative AND, I have no fecal parasites - yay for me!
  • Aside from a good teeth cleaning and losing about 25 pounds (I weighed in at 121 pounds...uff-da!), I'm in PERFECT health:-)
  • I am 100% potty trained and have already earned free roam for up to 5 hours alone!  Well, alone meaning me and my cute foster sisters:-)
  • Cats are my friend...I really like the one that lives here.
  • I like to play fetch with the tennis ball.  It's amazing how many times these humans will throw the ball for me!
  • I am starting to like car rides.  Today FD took me to see FM at work and all 3 of us golden furr-butts got in the car together.  We got to walk around at mom's work and smell all the good smells.  When it was time to leave, I hopped right in the SUV and away we went!
  • Last but not least, I LOVE to snuggle.  I want to be near humans at all times.  I will accompany you to the bathroom, to the kitchen when you get a snack, accross the room if you need to pull the shades at night.  Yep, anywhere you go...The Caz-Man goes.

I really enjoyed the sunshine out there today - I hope you did too!

Contact your placement advisor if you think I would be a good fit for your family.  Oh, and if it's not me, maybe it's one of my RAGOM siblings? ;-)

This is my foster sister Jayden, and me.  It gives you an idea of how BIG I am!

This is the resident cat, Poco.  He's pretty cool...for a cat.
