Hello. I want everyone to meet me. I am Cedar. Nobody knows exactly how old I am. I go to the vet on Feb. 1st and I am hoping that the good doctor can tell my FM (foster mommy) about how old she thinks I am. If my FM had to guess, she would say mid age. Six or seven maybe, but it could be different.

My FM rescued me from "doggy jail." Well, let me rephrase this....I took my FM out of doggy jail. She did not take me out. Hehehe. Once I was out of that cage and the leash was hooked on I was ready to go. I literally ran out of there. I like riding in a car and I LOVE to be loved on and petted. My FM calls me a big love bug. She gave me a much needed bath and I was a very good boy. I think because I knew that I would feel and smell much better when she was done and boy did I.

On the way home my FM talked to me and said that I was in for a soooo much better life and boy was she right. She told me about my two Golden foster brothers and my Golden foster sister and then she told me about these real tiny four legged things. She called them cats. FM was not sure how I would do with them and at first I wanted to chase them. I very quickly learned, "NO kitty" and now I am just mesmerized by them and want to play with them. You can see in the pictures that I get along with them real well now.

Also my FM and FD (foster daddy) had their grandchildren here to visit and I just LOVED them. I had soooo much fun playing with them. I LOVE the snow. I run and jump in it like a wild man. I walk pretty well on a leash. I pull some, but with a little more training, I think I would be real good on a leash. It has been real cold here, so I have not been on a lot of walks. My FM calls me a BIG couch potato. I love to lay and sleep on the chair or the couch. I sleep on the floor in the bedroom at night, unless I can get away with sleeping on the bed, which I have a few times. :) More from me after I get back from seeing the good doctor. Maybe I will know about how old I am then.

P.S. I forgot to tell you that I am in Center Point, Iowa. My FM says that is 15 miles North of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
