Chance 08-333

Profile

RAGOM fans please welcome one of the newest editions to our foster group, Mr. Chance 08-333. Chance is a 2 year old male who came from an owner surrender situation. Mr. Chance is not yet neutered and let's just say he is quiet friendly with any female dog he happens to encounter. A regular Casanova.

Chance has already been micro-chipped and his vaccinations have been brought up to date. He will need to be altered/neutered before he will be ready for his forever home. He weighs in at 57.2 pounds and has a fine looking deep red coat. With a little grooming Mr. Chance will really become a true gem of a dog.

He met the three resident dogs here with absolutely no problems. He is said to get along with dogs, cats, and children. I will update more on Mr. Chance in the next few days as we get to know him better. If you are looking for a young male with a smaller build and a dark red coat please contact our fabulous representatives at placementatragom [dot] org

Chance's new parents and his sister, Sidney, are so happy that he has joined their family. Just look at that huge smile on his face with his new sister. I think Chance struck gold with the R. family. He will be going to an obedience class in the near future. He is enjoying lots of physical activity with walks, runs, and some tennis ball retrieving.

Thank you again M & T for choosing a deserving rescue dog like Chance to become part of your family!

(P.S. Chance is on the left in both pictures and Sidney is on the right.)

Hello RAGOM fans. Mr. Chance wants to thank all of his fans for reading up on him and also for those who have already expressed interest in meeting this fine young Golden Retriever. Chance went to the vet on Monday and he is a changed man (aka neutered). He has settled in very nicely with the three resident dogs. He loves to play a good game of chase and wrestle with Indy. He gives Dakota a run for his money in retrieving the tennis balls. Dakota still wins on being the best at bringing the ball back right to foster dad.

Chance walks very well with a Gentle Leader. He knows sit, down, and come. He is a very energetic young male and probably would do best in a home without really small children as he does like to jump up for first greetings. I think a class in obedience training would really make Chance a GReat dog. He is very intelligent and listens very well.

We took a nice walk this evening and Chance stopped to get his feet wet in Prior Lake. I can tell he wanted to do more than get his feet wet but since he just had surgery on Monday that was all he was allowed to do. Once we got home he took a quick breather near one of the rose bushes. Chance met a family last night so keep your paws crossed that he may soon have his forever home. Thanks again for following Chance and the many other deserving RAGOM dogs : )
