Charlie is a friendly, energetic guy who gets along well with everyone, including kids of all ages and cats. His family adopted him from RAGOM in 2000, and they were very happy with him, but his Mom had allergies and had to give up all the animals. Charlie's adjusting to his foster home just fine. He's respectful to the cat, and loves going for walks in the park. He knows several commands (Come, Sit, Stay, Down, Shake) but needs to work on heeling. He's friendly and polite to other dogs in the park and is happy to explore all the new sights and sounds (except for fireworks, which make him want to hide under something).

Charlie has sensitive skin, so he's on a special diet from the vet and takes baths with special shampoo. He likes to get a good rubdown after a bath -- he needs to get really dry so his skin doesn't break out from being wet. He doesn't go swimming, and rain makes his skin uncomfortable. He's neutered and UTD except for HW, so he'll be going to the vet soon to get his HW test. Charlie is a playful 4-year-old who can also lay calmly at your feet. He needs a family with a fenced-in yard who can give him regular, consistent exercise and lots of love and attention.
