Charlie 08-054

Profile

Charlie has arrived safe and sound in the frozen tundra of northern Wisconsin, and I do mean frozen. -32F this AM - BRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! Charlie doesn't seem to mind though. He has been outside playing with our resident dogs and enjoyed his afternoon walk.

Charlie was surrendered by a loving ten year old and her family from the great state of Iowa. It was a very emotional time for all and many tears were shed. He was a very loved fellow.

Charlie is an 85 lb neutered Golden Doodle in excellent shape, both physically and mentally. He is up to date on all his shots, but still has to go in tomorrow for a wellness check and micro chipping. If all goes well, he will be ready for adoption to his new forever home. He gets along well with all of the pack at this house of insanity. He is a very good looking boy with the classic Golden Retriever attitude. He is a gentle, loving, and easy-going guy.

There isn't a whole lot I can tell you about him at this point as he has only been with us for less than twenty four hours. So, I thought I might enclose the letter from Charlie's ten year old best friend.

"The people from the puppy farm that gave Charlie to us had him outside a lot. He didn't like that. He has a furry curly coat and white Poodle hair on the top of his head and golden all over. He likes to cuddle a lot and is afraid of small dogs...just joking. Chews are a must! Let him get his paws on your shoulders and dance. He likes to sneak pizza from the side so watch that. What he really needs is a good space to run. He loves kids a lot. He has a lot of energy. His favorite toy is his bowling pin. He can sit, lay down, shake, fetch, catch treats in the air, and when he eats too fast he BURPS! He is a little scared of strangers, and tends to bark at them, but it is just because he's nervous. We love him very much and he needs a good home."

I guess there isn't much more to add at this point. You have to love this strong and brave little girl!
