Charlie (Jarvis 11-214)

Profile

Jarvis came into Ragom from Iowa.  Here are the basics of this beautiful boy:

He is approximately 20-24 mos old or so
He is neutered
He weighs about 80 pounds
He is  microchipped
He gets along fine with other dogs
Cats……  may give chase but ok (no aggressions)
LOVES to ride in the car
He is crate trained

Jarvis is a beautiful, blonde golden who is a little taller and a sweetheart.  He has been bounced around a couple times and came into Ragom somewhat unstable and unsure.  He is basically housetrained and is learning quickly.  (He has had a couple accidents in my absence but all in all doing very well and coming along great with potty training).  He is learning the gentle leader for walking and is progressing well.

He is a young energetic young boy who would do best with children who are older.  He is working on his basic commands and going very well.  He enjoys tennis balls and soft toys (which may get chewed up!).  He is not a barker.  He would love a ton of exercise, walks, running and perhaps a fenced yard to blow off a lot of energy.  He gets along famously with my resident dog, Reese, and they do great together.  Jarvis is a delight to foster and is a beautiful, young PBGR all ready to meet his forever home.

Charlie (fka Jarvis)... helping pack for college

Sunday, August 28, 2011

What a joy it is to have Jarvis (11-214 now known as Charlie) in our family! He gets along great with our cat and is learning all about the neat places in our neighborhood on his twice daily walks. What a great job Holly, Rona, and Reece did in preparing him for his forever home. Here is Charlie (foreground) with his new friend, Barkley, who came over to play.

Jarvis has been adopted by the "J" family!  Jarvis instantly loved their family and they reported he loved the car ride home to Rochester.  Jarvis enjoys all of the attention their son gives him!

Jarvis enjoys the ride home with his new family!
