Chopper 03-078

Profile

On Sunday, we met "Chopper" for the first time. We did not know what to expect from a dog with a name like "Chopper." We could not be more pleased with how sweet he is. Chopper craves attention, loves to be petted constantly, and seems to have a wonderful nature. For the cat lovers, he would not be a good match as he is "cat aggressive." We were hoping the vet could see him today, but we cannot get in until Tuesday. Therefore, we will more updates to come!

Until then, Chopper would like to say a few words regarding what he is looking for in his new family.

Happiness is:

Not being tied up all the time
Having someone to play ball with
Having someone to take a walk with me
Having someone to pay attention to me
But most of all, the RAGOM for finding me an adoption family
And, for the adoptive family accepting me into their home

Sincerely, Chopper

Chopper passed over the rainbow bridge at 1:44 pm yesterday, March 8, 2010. Last November Chopper was diagnosed with a brain tumor that had invaded into his nose. The Drs. gave him 3 months but he lasted 4.5.

In spite of his pain, Chopper was happy until the end. He was able to chase his ball and roll in the snow just hours before passing. He died like he lived, with uncommon dignity and a happy smile on his face. He was the bestest of the best and we will miss him forever.
