Let’s give a warm RAGOM welcome to the smiling Cinder!

Cinder is 9 years old, healthy, housetrained, and heavy!  This lovely lady was surrendered to RAGOM because her family was overwhelmed with newborn baby activities.  She spent her first 7 years on a farm with SO’s parents and became a ‘city dog’ about a year ago.  She has spent the major part of her life outside and now just wants to be inside and comfy.  Cinder has run of her foster home during the day (is alone about 9 hours) and throughout the night.

Cinder is a spayed female; is UTD and has been on HW and FT this season.  She has vet records dating back to puppyhood.  She visited the vet this week and was found to be in good health with one exception:  her weight.  Cinder tips the scales at a whopping 90 pounds!  Lucky for her she LOVES to walk!!  When we first start out, she tries to prance along to show her joy :)  Cinder has no aggression or anxiety issues.  She's good with kids and babies, other dogs and gets along just fine with the resident cats!

More on Cinder and pictures to follow but if you are looking for a reason to get out and walk, you may be just what Cinder’s doctor ordered!!  Contact your placement advisor.

Cinder has been with us for almost 2 weeks and she continues to be the perfect houseguest.  As mentioned, she is alone in the house from 6:15 to 3:15, would NEVER get on the furniture or bed, and so far she hasn't played with tennis balls or toys so nothing to pick up.  Slowly she's become more comfortable with going out on the deck alone - she knows she will be able to come back into the house anytime.  She is quiet, only time she has barked had something to do with the cats...when FM came around the corner, they all just looked at her.  In fact, the only "naughty" thing she has done is drink out of the toilet and that is an easily fix.  She gets more excited everyday at walk time, she is thriving on the good food and exercise.

Come see us at the Picnic; Cinder will be there from 9 - 12.
