Cisco 06-108

Profile

4/2/06: Cisco is a 6 1/2 year old Golden Retriever. He will be 7 years old in June. He is neutered, housebroken, great with kids, dogs and cats. Cisco's tail was cropped when he was younger because of an injury. He does have a little bob of a tail left and it still wags even if it is a little short. He is a tall boy, but very well behaved. He did do some marking in the house when he first came here, but he has not done it since.

Cisco was surrendered due to his owners going to a nursing home. Their granddaughter took him in and contacted RAGOM to find him a good home. Cisco loves to ride in the car, play fetch and just rest by you wherever you are. Cisco knows basic commands, but does pull while walking on a leash. We will try a Gentle Leader and see if that helps. He is used to having free roam of the house where he previously lived.

We will be taking Cisco to the vet to get his vaccinations up to date as he is due for everything in May. I will send in more updates when we get to know Cisco better and I will also get some better pictures outside when we get a break from the rain. Cisco seems to be a ready made companion just waiting for a place to call home.
