Clyde 07-630

Profile

Hi my name is Clyde. I am a 10 year old male with lots of life left in me. I am a beautiful blonde & 115 pounds. My family died and the extended family took me to the pound. How sad to lose my family then not know who to turn to.

I am looking for a family to spend the rest of my life with. My foster parents have two seniors and say that we are the best dogs ever. Everyone should get the joy of watching a senior live out his remaining years. I love to play with toys & I am a little slower at fetch than I used to be but still love the ball in my mouth. I am house trained & do not need a crate. I would do fine on a dog bed of my own. I do not bark much & would NOT need a fenced yard, just someone to keep an eye on me. I am the happiest with my people. I love children, other dogs are fun to play with & cats, well my foster family doesn't have one but thinks I would be fine. I walk fine on a leash but am a little slower in my senior years (arthritis has kicked in). Nice slow walks would be great (I do need to loose a few pounds). I know how to sit, lay down & come when I am called. I am a very nice good natured boy who wants someone to just pet me & love me unconditionally & I will give you so much more in return!

Hi it's Clyde here again. I am really doing well here in my foster home. I think I am a puppy again. I LOVE to play with tennis balls, tear apart MY stuffed toys (nothing that's not mine) and play tug-o-war with dogs or people and I usually win. I have been losing weight and look great. My mild allergies are pretty much non existent and I feel like a million bucks!!! My hair is so shiny and soft and I am still the great dog my foster family says I am.

I am excellent with kids. I know how to be gentle yet I love to play (a perfect fit for a family with kids). My foster kid is 4 and I let him climb all over me and hardly even raise my head. I am totally house trained, do not need to be confined at all, come when called, sit & lay down. What more could you ask for? Not to mention I have tons of love to give and lots of life left in me. So take a look at all my fun times here at my foster home and picture YOUR family in them with me. I am a Christmas gift that will keep on giving long after the kids lose intrest in all those toys!

Clyde is such a delight to have around. He is always happy and has that golden "smile". He is losing weight and becoming more active, even running around some. He has had a bath and looks beautiful with his long hair all brushed out. He would make an excellent companion around the holiday season for he loves everyone and is very willing to please. Clyde loves to have belly rubs and waits very patiently for his turn.
