Clyde is doing so great. Total different dog in the short time we have fostered him. First, he still enjoys his ‘spot’ in the crate and we leave that up for him. Probably hiding from the cats! He is not anywhere near as skittish of sounds and household noises, happenings at all. He does enjoy a good nyla bone(s) and found the ‘doggie toy basket’ and has chosen a couple of hard toys a couple of which squeak. That is so fun to watch him play, relax and just be a big young golden boy. He enjoys his walks and we even went on a visit to my work (where I can walk to) and met some of the staff. He is not sure about ‘street traffic’ yet but did pretty darn well. Really loved the staff and all the attention and people he met. So that was a wonderful experience and a good one. He now runs off the porch with the other 2 resident dogs and goes out potty and play and exercise. He really needs another dog about his size to romp and play with. (The corgi Eddie is his age but just a tad too short!!). He will ‘bark-howl’ a little bit at the moon, dark or ??? Not sure but it is cute. Just does for a little bit then he is done. He is so beautiful to watch run around the back yard and he is trying to figure out what the tennis ball does. The soccer ball you see in the photo is what the corgi plays ‘fetch’ with but Clyde is not so sure. He cocks his head and watches us play and just runs around us. Clyde is such a delight to foster and he has come a long way. Has our schedule down pat, know when breakfast and supper is. Everyone eats in harmony and have good appetites. [The food we feed all of them is Taste of the Wild Venison]. He takes treats very nicely and again, has one of the most ‘soft mouths.’ All of the pups are now really enjoying this cool weather outside and are quite ‘frisky’ now. Clyde is a doll.

Clyde is so much fun to photograph and of course the weather has been so lovely. He is such a lovely, gentle, great golden boy. He is settling in well. Definitely enjoys being outside romping around.
