On Feb 19, 2011, Coach came into RAGOM.  After a transport of nearly 9 hours, this lovable, hug-able dog became my newest best friend and foster.  Until a wonderful GS took him in, he had no home, no food, except what he could pick up along the way, for over 3 months.  Coach is a survivor!  His fur was matted with things that smelled really bad, but after several baths and brushing after... show more

Updates

It is with much sadness that I am writing you to let you know that Coach (11-056) crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Dec 1st of 2015. We adopted him in April of 2011 at the age of 11, and so we were delighted to have 4 plus years of love from this guy. He was an awesome dog, and we are so thankful to RAGOM for the work they do in rescuing and re-homing these wonderful dogs.

Coach was a typical Golden, loving, loyal, friendly and handsome. He loved his people and loved to be where they were. After his second round with Vestibular Disease, we thought we would lose him, but he recovered enough to enjoy 11 more months of life before he was ready to let go. We figure he was around 15 or so when he passed… I miss him every day.
